Former police chief turned yoga teacher sentenced to 11 years over Jan. 6 riot

After representing himself at his trial earlier this year, Alan Hostetter was convicted of conspiring to obstruct Congress' certification of Joe Biden's electoral victory, bringing a hatchet onto Capitol grounds, and disorderly conduct. While Hostetter joined the mob on the steps of the Capitol, he stopped short of entering the building and did not assault police officers during the riot.

Good but that's only one. Hell, that shaman cunt served less than a deuce. I forget who the judge(s) are who're handing out these slaps but they've been ID'd. The prosecution is asking for hard time and these judges giving out slaps. Shit is disgusting.

And I say once again, if they were Black every single one of them would have been tried by now, and not one sentence less than a dime would've been handed down.

If they were Black, they would still be mopping up the blood and doing DNA testing to identify the bodies.

Nobody would have made it out alive, so they would not have to be bothered with paperwork/trials.

Florida Proud Boys Member Sentenced to 5 Years for Jan. 6

According to CBS News’ Scott MacFarlane, the judge called Anthony Sargent’s defense “laughable,” saying he pushed an officer into the mob to prevent him from arresting another rioter and twice shoved police away from the Capitol as they attempted to fall back to safety.

Athens couple sentenced for Jan. 6 charges

When Georgia residents Savannah Danielle McDonald and Nolan Harold Kidd emerged from the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, and began giving interviews to journalists and posting on social media, there was little evidence they believed they had done anything wrong.
“We were definitely within the first 100-150 people in that building,” McDonald told a freelance journalist in a video posted to YouTube.
“I did get a souvenir,” Kidd said, whipping off his red “Make America Great Again” hat to reveal a cap belonging to the Capitol Police. Kidd even provided the journalists with cell phone video he took from inside the Capitol showing rioters shouting threats through a haze of tear gas.
But at their sentencing in separate federal court hearings this week, they told the judge their actions that day were profoundly wrong.
“Honestly, on (Jan. 7) I had the feeling that that was wrong,” McDonald said. “It was very dumb.”
In a teleconferenced hearing from Washington, U.S. District Court Judge Christopher Cooper on Tuesday sentenced McDonald to 21 days in prison. On Monday, he sentenced Kidd to 45 days.

House Democrats call on Justice Clarence Thomas to recuse from Trump 2020 election case

Led by Georgia Rep. Hank Johnson, the group of eight Democrats told Thomas in a letter dated Dec. 15 that the activities of his wife, Ginni Thomas, after the 2020 election raise "serious questions" about his ability to remain impartial in cases before the high court that involve the last presidential election and the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.

‘Militia enthusiast’ gets over 4 years in prison for attacking police with baton during Jan. 6 riot

Matthew Thomas Krol, 65, of Linden, Michigan, assaulted at least three officers, injuring one of them, with the baton that he took from police. A prosecutor said Krol was one of the worst instigators of violence that ultimately forced officers to retreat from the mob of rioters who stormed the Capitol’s West Plaza.
