my recollection of OJ before the murder was as black cop from the Naked Gun series.

I keep telling someone I was watching it with this same thing.
OJ was very involved in his trial. He would consistently point out prosecution mistakes and suggest directions his legal team could take.

I think they gonna show that.

In the beginning, he was a nervous wreck. Shit, we all would be in that situation. I think when he got JC on deck as the lead, he started to get comfortable, cause he knew it was a lock.

Thanks. he just was the dude who jumped over the luggage and ruined my baseball game and then tv for a year with his trial

i can only speak for myself.
at the time i wasnt into football yet and didnt have fam to put up on the history of the game.

but HBO sure did play them Naked Gun joints on repeat

Cuba is miscast physically ...OJ is a large man. 6'3 and wide ...Cuba is a hobbit in comparison.

OJ in his prime was charming and very charismatic. He was that black guy white people LOVED ...like Magic, Lionel Ritchie or Will Smith

OJ always appeared calm, smooth, humorous, and confident. Cuba always seems shaken and timid

maybe this is a turning point in the show though. To this point he was down and after Johnnie's speech we see him be himself again. It would make sense though because I doubt OJ was calm cool and smooth riding in the bronco and getting locked up and shit but probably turned the corner then. we already see a slight difference with him coming to court in the dookie green suit waving and shit maybe now we get the 2nd act of OJ.

we'll see.
