Homage, callback, reimagining..... but not reboot.

What I like about this show is that the "villain" you're introduced to in the beginning of the season is usually not the big bad villain of the season. I think we're going in that direction because we're starting to see some sympathetic story details in the Mannheim character. We know Lex was cast so maybe he comes in the story soon.

I'm just not interested in Lang family drama. I couldn't care less that the young daughter feels left out and that the ex-husband found a new fuck thang. She is cute though.

I'm only interested in seeing Lana's character and her dynamic with Clark. She found out Clark was Superman last season, why haven't we seen any fallout or consequence from that? Shit, I'll even take a love triangle subplot with her and Lois over her suicidal teen daughter.

I suspect the Lana and Kyle drama will get more interesting in the future.

Bizarro Lana is still out there. Good chance she will make a return and get between Kyle and Lana in order to get after Superman being she is not strong enough to take him out force on force, one on one.

Kyle is a horn dog and desperate to get back with Lana. That makes a good opportunity for Bizarro Lana to sneak in.

We will wait and see….

Season 3
Episodes 7 - 8

Watched these this afternoon.

Lois health is slowly deteriorating from her Cancer. Johnathan discovered that Kyrptonian tech could save her, but it is dangerous.

Lois and Clark figure out Bruno’s personal life. They have a different outlook of him…..but that changes quick.

Natalie falling hard with her boyfriend. And we get the big surprise on who his parents are.

Lex Luther is mentioned and he is currently in prison, but active.

Episode 8 brought on some serious drama amongst all the primary characters to close out Episode 8.

Next episode debuts May 23, 2023.

Looking forward to it.

They have something good with this. I hope it can continue. We have a show that actually has Superman along with a great representation of Steel with a Lois that isn't a headache that has two unique character dynamics being that she's sick and was the wife of Steel in an alternate timeline.

'The Flash' showrunner is 'hopeful that the Arrowverse is not over'

The Flash showrunner Eric Wallace says he didn't write an ending for the Arrowverse in next week's series finale, even though The Flash is the last Arrowverse show standing.

When Superman & Lois declared in its season 2 finale that it no longer exists on the same Earth where the TV universe takes place, The Flash officially became the last standing Arrowverse series.

"I'm going to have lunch with [Superman & Lois showrunner] Todd [Helbing] in the next couple weeks," Wallace says. "And I'm going to tell him, 'If you get a fourth season, you've got to sneak some Arrowverse in there. You are now carrying the torch.'"
Helbing (who served as showrunner on The Flash for seasons 2-5) smiles as he thinks about the potential of keeping the Arrowverse alive if Superman & Lois reverses its decision. But he doesn't know if he'll even get that chance, as his series hasn't been renewed yet, and the CW's slate of original shows continues to get slashed by new owner Nexstar. "I will say this, it sure is a lot easier now that the other shows aren't on the air, people's schedules are a lot easier to work around, so … maybe," he tells EW (speaking prior to the writers' strike). "I would love to bring Grant on, and I think it would be a lot of fun to have Candice [Patton]'s Iris with [Elizabeth Tulloch's] Lois Lane. So we'll see."

Episode 9 - 10

Episode 9 continues with Lois dealing with her cancer. She talked about her boobs which was interesting with Lana.

Also had John Steel go Buck Wild and haul off and straight kill Mannheim’s super powered goon with his hammer. He, Clark and Gen. Lane don’t agree with him.

Mannheim’s son now looks to be all in with his father/mother with their schemes.

Kyle has had enough with secrets on what is going on with the weird incidents at fire scenes and with his daughter almost killing herself and getting rescued. It’s going to be interesting on how things play out when Clark tells him next week. I can already see he is gonna be pissed being the last one to find out after his wife and daughter.

3 more episodes left. It definitely loooks like Lex Luther will probably make his debut in the season finale and be the main guy next season.

Gonna let those episodes stack up and then binge them later next month.

Looking forward to them.

Another strong episode It's interesting how they have created characters that are up to no good but i care about them and actually hope they can escape from the lives they made for themselves
It's time for Jordan Kent to let Sarah go. It's becoming pitiful at this point.

It’s looking more like this series is going to continue on with the DCEU that James Gunn is working on currently.

The Flash final season explains why this series is not connected to the Arrowverse.

With the CW looking to cancel this series after the season finale and that MAX already has the prior seasons up on its service.

It’s looking more like this series is safe.

At first I was happy the show was saved but most of the cast only appearing in a few and possibly not any episodes is a huge let down. Plus a cut back on the SFX is starting to make me think why bother.

So what was a story about Superman returning to his hometown to raise his family and all of the interpersonal dynamics that goes along with teenagers coming of age in Smallville -- is now going to be reduced to another show about Superman vs. Lex Luthor? No thanks, I've seen this already. They've beat this horse to death, what's left to do.

I'm glad it's going to be a season 4 of this show!!...I'm guessing with that these character roles in this show that are not coming back..It's going to be all about the Kents going back to Metropolis and it's going to be all about Superman next season!!..

Started sappy with the annoying typical kids, they went away from that and Steel became the best thing about this show. Now they are going back to the whiny entitled white kid routine and less Steel.
