Really funny to me but I fuck with all of McBride's shows. Goggins is really in his bag here just like he was in Vice Principals
It’s like a big budget action comedy. Quite funny at times, mixed in with WTF cringe as well. It’s worth a look.

Checked out the first few episodes of Big Brother Canada which premiered this week. Cast seems pretty good. One person already left on episode 2 for personal reasons. Wasn't exactly clear (had to rewind so I could see which person it was - as they didn't discuss it with fellow castmates, nor on camera in the diary room with a producer). Might have been an update from back home outside of the house.
The season wrapped up this week. I had a series recording set, but seeing as it airs 3 times a week I would just skim over the episodes after the fact. Watch them in 10 minutes or so.

Should be interesting to see how the stories / plots compare.
Also, the difference in budget for each show. Peacock had some big name guest stars for Poker Face, and Apple+ has a notable main cast for this one.
I saved Poker Face for each of my parents respectively. My dad and his gf sort of lost interest around ep 5. They wanted more of Natasha Lyonne on the back half of the season. Whereas my mom and her bf enjoyed what they've seen. Believe they've watched 7 of the 10 eps - I saved the remaining 3 for her to transfer over for her when I next see her.
I completed it enjoyed for the most part
It was a pleasant surprise.
the casting was a huge selling point.
but I'm very curious how much more they can squeeze out of this.

Found her character obnoxious, even though I read the strong reviews for season 1 on the whole. Seemed like season 2 was more hit & miss for everyone. But I can't truly say, only having seen 1 ep of the entire series.
Poker Face was renewed for a 2nd season back in February. Should be interesting to see when it eventually debuts (given the writer's strike and all now).
And like we were saying after watching season 1 ... hopefully there is more storyline / plot involving the sister. Really enjoyed those short scenes with her near the end of the season. Felt genuine and realistic.
