the ending of that episode was fucked up

actually the way how it was supposed to end was:

The final scene with the missile close up, was not the original final scene but done cause there were too many complaints the original was disturbing. The original ending was after she sees the missile in the sky (no close up) she walks further down and around a corner and sees a missile about 9 feet from hitting the ground. Penny then screams "Nooooo!!!" and then the scene goes to black.

Hands down, I have to say that the original black and white twilight zone is the greatest show of all time!!! Every year I look forward to watching the new years eve and new years day marathon of twilight zone on sci fi channel.

I used to watch the reruns when I was younger. This show had great suspense writers. And was great at depicting psychological thrillers without blood and gore. Nothing today can fuck with it!
 
I like the one where three astronauts go into space and crashland on a alien planet. They go in separate directions to get a lay of the land and one goes and kills another one for his water and as the guy's dying he draws a line with two other lines going through it. the other astronaut goes and kills the other guy for his water and keeps walking, until he realizes what the drawing meant when he see's a power line and realizes they crash landed on earth.
 
what about the one where darkness came over the world too much hate the sun stopped shining
 
the one with dude who played uncle charley on my three sons was funny as hell towards the end..wife was wilding out"YONKERS,YONKERS,YONKERS!!" :lol:

wes craven's episode from the 80s,"shadow man" was good..the ending was a trip,little dude thought he was the shit till the meet-up at the playground :lol:

I doubt we'll see such a well written show on network TV again. There just isn't enough time available with commercials.. In the early sixties the average running time of a half hour program was about 26 min with about 4 min of commercials Now its about 11.
When they run uncut episodes of the TZ they usually Run close to 44 min. You can't fit those type of scripts into a half hour anymore with today's commercial requirements.
 
Can anyone recommend a top ten best episode list? I'm young so I wanna catch up, but just wanna see the best episodes
