Actually for me the trailers were trash but it worked in the show. Show is pretty good honestly. It's a guilty pleasure show that knows what it is. That goes a long way for me.How is anyone shocked that it's a turd after those trailers?

Yeah I mean its not the best writing but I commend shows that don't take its self to serious when they shouldn't have to. It's a video game adaption. It's silly lol. But it knows what it is and it's only 30 minutes an episode and I think 8 or 9 episodes. Some decent humor. The trailers or at least the ones I Watched showed this was going to be something else. The approach they took works.
I been binging the shit out of it. Not even on purpose. I said I'd give the first episode a watch....it was ok but I guess good enough to keep watching...it's good stuff if you don't take it too serious.
Episode 10 paid homage to the game. Sadly, when I binge I don't go back to see what I missed when I fall asleep...lol. I'll just run it back.

I'm enjoying it. But I think it depends on the viewer. If I get into a Christopher Nolan flick I'm going to expect a certain standard writing and directing wise. When it comes to a Peacock series based on a playstation video game from my childhood? I'm expecting the worse. Truthfully, the game was enough. I didn't need a Twisted Metal series. But I was pleasantly surprised. Each episode gets better and better. It's a fun ride. Yeah Mackie goes full will but he actually makes a good Will Smith joke in the movie theater... so I think he is super self aware.
It goes fast it's insane but I like that every actor came to play and is fully committed.
Finished it... I liked it.
And I am a fan of the shorter episode lengths.
