Actually for me the trailers were trash but it worked in the show. Show is pretty good honestly. It's a guilty pleasure show that knows what it is. That goes a long way for me.How is anyone shocked that it's a turd after those trailers?

Yeah I mean its not the best writing but I commend shows that don't take its self to serious when they shouldn't have to. It's a video game adaption. It's silly lol. But it knows what it is and it's only 30 minutes an episode and I think 8 or 9 episodes. Some decent humor. The trailers or at least the ones I Watched showed this was going to be something else. The approach they took works.I gotta check it out. I just wanted others opinions about it first!
I been binging the shit out of it. Not even on purpose. I said I'd give the first episode a watch....it was ok but I guess good enough to keep watching...it's good stuff if you don't take it too serious.Just saw the trailer yesterday, started the first episode and saw the whole season is available......
Might binge before the fight tonight
Why would you need others opinions first? You're gonna watch for your pleasure, even if others do or don't like it....... LEMMINGI gotta check it out. I just wanted others opinions about it first!
I'm the same way though. I hear how other people feel before I watch a show. Doesn't matter if they like it or not I usually watch it lol. I guess WHEN I watch it depends on how people talk about it.Why would you need others opinions first? You're gonna watch for your pleasure, even if others do or don't like it....... LEMMING
.
The trailer had that shit looking corny and If it wasn't for me watching for myself I would've never gave this shit a chance.I'm actually watching RIGHT NOW and this shit if fire as fuck bro! The visuals are dope, the characters are interesting and it's not corny like I expected it to be. Definitely check it out when you have time family.
I never even played it coming up, even though I remember seeing it in all the game magazines and shit all the timeI'm actually watching RIGHT NOW and this shit if fire as fuck bro! Yeah? Well here's how I feel...... after ten minutes in...... hot poorly written trash ..... Mackey must be thirsty as fuck..... and you gotta watch the commercials on Peacock...... don't think that I'm going to make it another ten minutesI'm the same way though. I hear how other people feel before I watch a show. Doesn't matter if they like it or not I usually watch it lol. I guess WHEN I watch it depends on how people talk about it.
I'm enjoying it. But I think it depends on the viewer. If I get into a Christopher Nolan flick I'm going to expect a certain standard writing and directing wise. When it comes to a Peacock series based on a playstation video game from my childhood? I'm expecting the worse. Truthfully, the game was enough. I didn't need a Twisted Metal series. But I was pleasantly surprised. Each episode gets better and better. It's a fun ride. That's all I Can ask for. nice little guilty pleasure show that's not going to take to much of my time. 30 minute and 10 episodes....Yeah? Well here's how I feel...... after ten minutes in...... hot poorly written trash ..... Mackey must be thirsty as fuck..... and you gotta watch the commercials on Peacock...... don't think that I'm going to make it another ten minutes
I think the show is a great example of why some shows need to be released in one season...
If the show dropped each week... i don't think that I would have stayed.
It did drag in the middle..... after episode 6
but when they reached Chicago and my Boy made his first appearance .... I knew where the show was going and it ended exactly where I hoped it would. Leading us to a Season 2 that's going to be like Twisted Metal 2.
What I really appreciated was dropping some of the obscure characters from the game in this ....
Yeah there are some issues with the tone and the writing
but Anthony Mackie and Stephanie Beatriz were fantastic in this.
I always loved her from Brooklyn Nine-Nine.... but man She was amazing in this... Fantastic chemistry with Anthony Mackie
And Man Anthony Mackie's comedic timing was way better then I would have thought. He has played funny guys before .... but not like this. He was full Will Smith in this show. He needs to do this more often.
Also the fact that they included the god mode code in this was funny as shit...
