Yes, but no.... meaning, yeah, we know they were lying up there... but being lawyers, they worded it in ways that didn't lock them in. They said they believed in the power of important precedents like Roe and that it was settled law. ...but they can always say hey, as a member of the court, we debated it even more, and uncle Ruckus.... err...I mean Justice Thomas brought up legal arguments that we hadn't considered, and now we say that the 14th amendment does not cover abortion rights.

So 3 of them lied under oath.

I wish black folk would stop attaching black issues to women's issues/ rights. The Civil Rights Movement was high jacked from black folk and repositioned to benefit the feminist movement and LGBTQ movement. Now, it's so intertwined that black folk really believe that everything that happens to feminist and LGBTQ results in something negative for black folk.

The fact is, not everyone supports abortion. So, going bananas because you can't have your way is crazy.

If you looked at some of the interviews on CNN, several democratic women supported today's decision.

All that's going to happen is people who really want to have an abortion will have to leave the state or adhere to more stringent policies and regulations.

Black folk will not lose rights or protections that are specific to black folk. Especially those provided to us the democrats.

Because there aren't any.

There are laws coming down that will make it illegal.
You leave the state for an abortion and come back you will go to jail.
They don't seem to see the long play. The states (republican specifically) set shit up on the local level for the nation level government to knock the ball out of the park.

Deadbeats in these states that’s banning abortions better strap up every time or get a vasectomy…ain’t no more trying to use the “well I told her I didn’t want the kid so I’m out” bullshit.

We have been subject to mass incarceration as a form of genocide (separation of men and women within a group). One of the things China has been alleged to be doing to Uyghur is separate the man and women, than introduce the Han Chinese men. Roe V Wade may have been a racist ruling to justify what was done to us similar to Dred Scott v. Sandford.

By saying it is permissible to prevent births through abortion than getting us to support the political party backing this 'right', people can stretch this interpretation to other things. Roe v Wade was in 1970's right before the prison boom took off.
