I like Jon Stewart but I turned after watching that last night. I generally agree with him on a lot of points he makes but I didn't agree with this.I respect Jon but this is bullshit.
To tell those types of jokes in that atmosphere knowing a significant portion of that crowd really subscribes to that sort bigoted and ignorant ideology to me either means he does as well or he's willing to participate in spreading that shit for a dollar.
Either way he can't hide behind the "it's just comedy" excuse when you're performing at an event that people were comparing to the 1939 Nazi rally in NYC.
A comedian could tell jokes about fucking mass shooting corpses in their eye sockets and other comedians would defend them.I respect Jon but this is bullshit.
