Would be nice to see the democrats disrupt and derail this administration just like they did Obama and Biden’s administrations. Both houses need to make them feel the pain of electing an incompetent president. I know the republicans control both houses but the committees are made of both parties. They need to vote “no” to any effort to promote Trump’s initiatives.

this is what I was referring to when the pig "won" but I didn't come out and say it outright. I know cacs played themselves but the margin of victory was just too suspicious for me. They went from accusing spineless democrats of rigging the machines to winning outright? Something don't smell right but this is America, somebody 5-10yrs from now will sing like a ....

Hundreds of federal workers packed a town hall in Leesburg, Virginia, Monday night, sounding off on the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and their fears about the future.
They packed into the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors room, and about a hundred more were in the lobby and couldn’t get in. The federal workers talked about their fears and the legality of all the changes that are currently happening out of the Trump administration.
One of them was Julia Jarvis, who complained about the access Elon Musk has to sensitive materials. “Could you tell me please, to which branch does Elon Musk belong?” she asked.

Another man, who did not give his name, said, “You have DOGE going into agencies, getting classified information with people who don’t have clearances.”
Another woman, who also did not give her name, said, “Every day for the last week or two, everyone has been scared. Everyone’s afraid every day the other shoe’s going to drop and we’re going to get cut.”
Virginia Rep. Suhas Subramanyam, who sponsored the town hall, advised workers not to take the deferred resignation plan being offered, saying, “I don’t know if I trust this offer.”
The comment was followed by thunderous applause in the room. He also told federal workers they should continue to push back, because he thinks that resistance is working.

its too late for that - and if the Dems have a plan ( whichhtey dont ) they cant do this "no" shit why?

the GOP could DO that as a tactic because Rep voters were unified behind their candidates-

this is ultimately the problem with the Dem party - you have two factions that are at war ideologically and until that gets resolved you wont have a Dem getting into power as a bloc -
the Dems and this feckless infighting has undone over 40 years or more of advances and its probably going to take more than 40 years to undo some of the damage thats been done.

Naw bro...I strongly doubt it. Northern VA is the main reason why the state of VA is BLUE....

I drove around Arlington, Fairfax, Alexandria, and Ashburn a few weeks before the election in areas where I know for a FACT white people live and all I saw was Harris signs.....

ASHBURN, VA — While former Republican President Donald Trump is the projected winner in the 2024 presidential election according to the Associated Press, Ashburn area precincts preferred Democrat Kamala Harris.

With 132 of 133 localities reporting, Harris won 51.55 percent of the vote in Virginia, and Trump received 46.38 percent of votes. Republicans haven't won the state in the presidential election since 2004. In Loudoun County alone, 56.26 percent of votes went to Harris, and 40.17 percent voted for Trump.
