Let me pose a question to the fam… how does this end of the cops are NOT called?
Yeah fam, if your wife is afraid then you fucking up. At the end of the day you are a parent before a spouse and it is our duty to protect our kids.

I know in many cases it is tough to make that call but when someone ks acting reckless, you got to do what you got to do

Prob eventually passes out.. sleeps it off then wake sup next day in denial.

The problem is tho, is if he really has been dealing with mental health issues then this is probably something that will continue to get progressively worse until someone really gets hurt.

Im almost always against calling the law on family but if hes been bugging out routinely, and now the nigga got a shit ton of free time on his hands due to unemployment, then this may have been the best thing to happen to him.
We are parents first and protecting our kids become priority. Him acting like that almost forced her to protect her family

Pure speculation here:
Guessing pops-n-law called him out. Said something "like come through, I got something for your ass"
That's probably why Sherm's yelling "come though" in the video.
Not sure why else he'd be yelling those words...

Either way Sherm should have been the bigger richer man and not fell into that trap. He's probably not going to be playing much football this year now.

And who the hell released the video? If its the family, it's super messed up!

This seems like a ugly family dispute that should’ve remained private.

Once you call the pigs, changes everything
According to reports, father in law pepper sprayed him and had the gun ready in case he got in...I think he was ready to shoot Richard and police were called as part of standard procedure...in other words, if you kill him the cops will ask why didn't you call them so you call them to play it straight

Yeah regardless Sherm should have controlled himself.

He has more to lose over his in-laws.

Why was there a fight between him, his father-in-law, and his wives uncle.

Smells like overall bullshit to me, but Sherm should have handled his emotions better and the overall situation.

Shit like this just keeps proving YouTube Cats like Dennis Spurling and Kevin Samuels right.

Black Men need to learn to run on LOGIC instead of Emotion is these types of situations.
Update OUR Standards when it comes to these "Lovely Ladies".

Because at the end of the day,
Even as a Black Man of Sherman's status,
She's thinks she's a Star,
And she will treat you like a Fan.

I agree, but it sounds like from that video that the Father in Law was challenging Sherm to come in. Almost like he was going to shoot him if he came in the house. You see Richard respond by trying to ram the door.
I don't blame them for calling the police. Probably saved someone's life. Richard was out of control!
I guess the family released the video because so many people were criticizing them for calling the police. It is what it is.
This all falls on Richard and no one else. Dude needs some help.

Per the video, he had the code to the door and the door unlocked. You can hear it.
Must have been one of those stoppers at the bottom or separate latch that stop him.

The second he had pushed the door.... she scream but not continually when he did it again.

Must be time to get half now.

That clip is like the beginning of a movie, right before they put "24 hours earlier" on the screen. There's a lot more to the story that we may ever know. Its obvious that its a domestic dispute but calling the po-po is a no-no.

I saw a report that the father used bear mace on Richard Sherman while he was trying to break down the door but Sherman kept coming, he then armed himself with a gun amd said he was prepared to use it. At some point the police needed to be called

According to the police report, which had not been made public, Sherman’s father-in-law, Raymond Moss, told investigators that the former Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers star partially broke in the door by repeatedly ramming it with his shoulder. Sherman called out, “Come through, Ray!” in a hostile and threatening tone, Moss said.
“The family began to yell in fear,” Moss told police. “I used pepper spray on Sherman’s face through the partially opened door as he was still banging and attempting to gain entry. I told him to stop. I armed myself with my handgun at this time fearing for the safety of myself and my family.”

This didn't just come out of nowhere. I'd like to see 24 hrs before the actual incident. Something drove Richard Sherman to this point. Its not likely that he just woke up that morning and decided that he'd just go and kick the shit out of dude.

This is speculation of course but it looks like the father in law & Sherman probably been beefing for a minute & shit hit a boiling point.

Something set Sherman off to go after his wife's pops, if Sherman got in that house somebody would have really got fucked up.

I wonder what Sherman's wife was telling her family about their relationship. I don't tell my family nothing personal about what's going on with my woman & I tell my woman to keep our personal issues just between us.

Doing that can save a lot of unwanted drama. Sherman should have still kept his cool as a man but there's always two sides to a story.
