To keep trying to tie fba to trump is the most desperate shit I seen when blk women came first and blk men next in votes for Kamala.

THEY, the ones self identifying as FBA/ADOS, said Kamala didn't win because of FBA. They all took a victory lap after dems lost, including some folk around here. You may not have voted for dems in the past, but when they issued child tax credits and you had kids, you benefitted. If you were MAGA and eligible for student loan forgiveness, you could get it.
The GOP voted against every bill the dems passed, but when that infrastructure money showed up they were at ribbon cuttings cheesing at the camera like they did it personally. A whole bunch of white folk didn't vote for Obama, and curse him to this day, but they all get the benefit of the aca.
That's sort of how all this works. The good and the bad affects us all, which is why we (should) strive to elect folk to do the least harm.
For instance, I didn't vote for Trump, but I'll be paying more for eggs and for any imported items that are affected by tariffs. So when that platinum plan takes effect, we should all get those benefits as well.
So I'll ask again.

The dem party. They aren't in power now tho, but the GOP is so I'm looking forward to the tangibles the dems weren't willing to give us. I'm still not quite sure how the platinum plan is going to work when Trump just signed an EO saying no special contracts or race based initiatives, and rolled back the requirements that there be no discrimination in awarding federal contracts, but I'm sure Tariq and Mark Carter have a plan now that we have someone in charge who will get us the tangibles we have earned.

Lol. The management I voted for didn't get enough votes so they aren't in charge to hold accountable for anything. The New management has come in and cancelled all the commitments the previous management made. So any concessions we want has to come from the new HNIC.
Now I didn't believe that the new management had our best interest at heart, but the rest of the people responsible for hiring them said both managers were the same and the new manager had a platinum plan that really showed how they valued us, and my side was out voted. They said we would see tangibles once they got in charge and we would no longer be at the bottom and soon I wouldn't have any choice but to see how great new management was. Its self evident, yo!
So far they have taken away paid leave, stiffed some of our vendors, broken several dozen laws, locked some folk out their offices and eliminated some positons.
Regardless, we are under a 4 year ironclad legally binding contract so unless the board members, who we also elected via vote and all support the new HNIC, cut it short by impeaching him, he's all we have. So any concessions we want has to come from the new HNIC and his management team. Granted it's only been a couple of weeks, but I don't see any day one commitments for our benefit, unless you count driving immigrants out the fields so Black folk can go back to them and take back the jobs they stole from us.
So I wanna know where these tangibles are.

Nobody is gonna criticize you if you were listening to Nasheed in in the late 2000s or early 2010s as background noise, while he laid out the Seven Levels of Disrespect, because the truth is, many of us needed things like that to be put in a quick and ready package that we could access because we didn't get these things from our fathers, grandfathers or uncles because they simply were not there.
But at some point, you grow up and you develop your own opinions and you move on and this should have been especially evident when Tariq went harder with the grift and became more ridiculous with his opinions.
