I clearly remember the swatting incident and it was quite a big deal, not only due to Tariq being swatted but because it effectively brought Tariq out of mostly existing in Black Consciousness spaces and put him on the radar of other social media and internet personalities, such as Baked Alaska, Ice Poseidon, The Wrestling Soup Podcast and others.
His profile effectively grew but he also realized he didn't have any nerds on his team that could effectively fight back, especially once he got a clear understanding of how common swatting is and the fact that people have been killed by it, combine that with Peanut being visibly shaken and upset, Tariq then very quietly backs away from vexing that group, knowing they aren't afraid to use lethal force (via SWAT) on him and his family.
Then shortly thereafter Tariq gets the FBI visit and there begins the slow change and how we arrived to version of Nasheed.
