Someone help me understand the end game and how Trump and Vance strategy against immigrants, Haitians and others, helps them?
You gotta imagine in the Haitian community for example they haven’t gained votes they’ve lost and hell even motivated some that weren’t planning on voting to vote?
The vile immigrantion rhetoric only attracts the most vile folks and that’s already his base. Sure probably swing some independents in his direction. But I’m assuming, could be wrong, it’s swings just as many if not more to Harris.
So once more how does this help him win Florida(huge Haitian population) and some of those other states?

Lost votes? They never had them in the first place. In 2016 only 20% of Haitian American voters chose Trump.
The only way it makes any kind of sense is if he's hoping that he can motivate enough racist white people to come out and vote. Especially white women who are going to be forced to choose between white supremacy and abortion.

The same question on the flip side. What votes outside of their based did they gain with this nonsense? I’d assume(and that’s a huge assumption) overall they’ve lost more votes than gained. I doubt the folks in OH appreciate bomb threats and other being called on the building with their kids in them?

Springfield Ohio is in Clark County which Trump won by 23 points in the last election. It would take a miracle for Harris to claim it, but even if she did there's only 136,000 people so Trump will probably take Ohio no matter what.
Trump will almost certainly get less than 20% of the Haitian American vote, but since most Haitian communities are in New York or Florida I doubt it will change the outcome

They must have some internal polling that is showing them a path to victory with this effort. Either that or they are trying to build chaos at the polls and trying to discourage people that come out to vote.
I'm not sure how far ahead trump is in Ohio, but if I were in the Harris camp, i would throw caution to the wind and at least show up in Cleveland or or Columbus for a surprise rally.
