 Thank you for this bro. Exactly the 3 pillars needed that I spoke on the other day.

@Piff Henderson
This what I’m talking about my guy.

The first interviewee: “Society’s soft. Everything’s so soft now. Trump gon say what he want. Regardless.”

This is a direct shot at the hijacked woke movement.

Second interviewee: “They see people on the right who are about their family. On the left, they see that family can be anything but a man and woman. They don’t agree with that. They don’t see that.”

A direct shot at the LGBTQ trans microscope.

Mind you, these are black men. Our brothas who came out did what we were supposed to do.

If WE are seeing this, what in the world do you think the center left minorities that actually shifted right are feeling? They’re tired of it all.

This is what I’m referring to about the pulse of people. You can chart, graph and source cite your way all day but this pulse right here? This pulse is the ONLY THING that matters when someone walks into a voting booth.

And folks can smear em all they want with “they’re not educated.. they're slow af.. Kamala has pages on this ..” but how much weight does that ACTUALLY hold when his vote weighs the exact same as ours? This slander tactic does not work at all and needs to go.

In sports we say, “Stats are for nerds. That’s why we play the games.” And it’s holds true. Opposition battles are nearly identical. I’m not calling you or anyone in here a nerd btw. Just speaking in general terms.

You don’t play these things out on paper. You’ll lose almost everytime.

You need to feel what people are feeling to ever fully understand and then adjust.

I have to believe that there will be a backlash against social media. Like you are what you consume and at some point, I hope there is a pullback because people are being manipulated.
If ever there was a point in history to do it, now would be the time cause the manipulation is outta control. Truly the Wild West out here.

We are so fucking doomed. Barbershops as a cultural hubs for Black people is so basement level relative to other groups. The way that we interject words from rap songs into political analysis is ignorant.

They have a vote, it's their choice, but we are doomed as a collective.

Trump won't do shit for Black people. It's obvious they feel the Democrats won't either.

Gay ass Georgia acting like 50% of their cousins aren't fucking each other. Stop lying.

At least the barber is getting money while having these read by numbers conversations.

Black people being driven by Rogan is a doom cycle, got damn :smh:

More anecdotal shit.

BTW, this election had to have broken a record for the number of barbershop interviews. I've never seen so many in the 16 years I've been following politics.

Lol 16 years ago was 2008. No chance independent media and cameras were as ubiquitous then as they are now. The internet itself was barely kicking off so what you see now vs then ain’t even close. That being said, I understand the sentiment.

Many consider BGOL an online barbershop.

How many political threads we got running in here?

Garland can't affect state courts. Those cases are still ongoing.

Trying to to get a federal judge to convict a former President for the first time in history AND setting the precedent that this is viable and accepted for every president going forward was never going to be easy.

You'd better have your ducks in a row.

Garland went way too slow, but I'm convinced he didn't think he could win the cases. And at any rate, the Supreme court had been signaling from the jump they would slap down any Trump convictions.

The answer was ALWAYS to beat Trump at the ballot box. A lot of folks on MSNBC convinced people these were open and shut no brainer convictions. Then were shocked on TV when Trump judges let him slide. Regardless, even if he convicted Trump in the first week of Biden's term, the appeals were going to take 10 years to work through the system.

Trump was never going to be in prison before the 2024 election, no matter what.

I've stopped listening to cable news pundits. They are just saying shit to get views on TV and playing on the viewers hopes.
The only consolation is that winning the presidency doesn't absolve him from civil judgments. He had to pay out a civil lawsuit based on his "university" during his first term. He's still on the hook for the E. Jean Carroll judgment against him this time and I'm sure it's kicking his ass.

That said he will use the presidency to enrich himself.

First, that barbershop interview was done by the AP not independent media. Other than that, yes, independent media is more ubiquitous particularly thanks to YouTube. I'm not seeing any great benefits it has given society though.

Second, there's also the question of how much of it is truly independent. We already saw the controversy of all those "independent" broadcasters like Tim Pool and Dave Rubin taking Russian money which no doubt influenced their broadcasts.

I believe the discourse on BGOL is more sophisticated than that bullshit from that clip. That was bottom of the barrel shit.
