A top research scientist working for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) played a key role in helping Dr. Brian Hooker of the Focus Autism Foundation uncover data manipulation by the CDC that obscured a higher incidence of autism in African-American boys. The whistleblower came to the attention of Hooker, a PhD in biochemical engineering, after he had made a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for original data on theDeStefano et al MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) and autism study.

Dr. Hooker’s study, published August 8 in the peer-reviewed scientific journal Translational Neurodegeneration, shows that African-American boys receiving their first MMR vaccine before 36 months of age are 3.4 times more likely to develop autism vs. after 36 months.

According to Dr. Hooker, the CDC whistleblower informant — who wishes to remain anonymous — guided him to evidence that a statistically significant relationship between the age the MMR vaccine was first given and autism incidence in African-American boys was hidden by CDC researchers. After data were gathered on 2,583 children living in Atlanta, Georgia who were born between 1986 and 1993, CDC researchers excluded children that did not have a valid State of Georgia birth certificate — reducing the sample size being studied by 41%. Hooker explains that by introducing this arbitrary criteria into the analysis, the cohort size was sharply reduced, eliminating the statistical power of the findings and negating the strong MMR-autism link in African American boys.

Dr. Hooker has worked closely with the CDC whistleblower, and he viewed highly sensitive documents related to the study via Congressional request from U.S. Representative Darrell Issa, Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

As a chiropractor I am against them,and believe we have the natural ability to take on diseases especially with the help of getting your nervous system checked, as for the correlation between vaccines and autism, I will always say this, if there was a correlation between the two, lets just say from 1980 until now we found out there is something within the vaccines that causes autism or elevates your chances of getting it, you know the amount of money the government would have to pay in restitution.....it would be upwards of the billions.....I'm no card carrying tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theorist, but I would say the government would be heavily invested in keeping the correlations behind closed doors

I did not have my father in my life, I became a well adjusted adult, so does that mean all kids from single parent homes do so well? Or bad? That's misguided logic man
 
MMR has always been suspect, well at least the substrate of the vaccination. May be a wives tale, but that one is worth waiting on till they are ready for school IMO. Is this a real article though, where is the link?
 
Further more I will say this I think it has to do with the trace amounts of mercury in some of the shots, or the sheer amount kids are given in one sitting, again I'm against them, but at least spread them out and don't sit there and get like 2 or more In one visit give the child's body a chance to take on the foreign material and adapt

The government currently pays billions of dollars to care for special needs people (I know because I work in a very profitable industry that relies on that money) so it would be a long term better financial solution if they could find that it was vaccines causing autism and fix them.

Claiming it to be solely the work of vaccinations is irresponsible, ignorant and completely false and dangerous.

Compare the amount of autistic kids to the ones who don't. They've ALL had vaccinations.

I'm not talking about a small amount. I'm taking about a whole population.


But what DOES happen when people aren't vaccinated is PLAGUES.

how do I know this? This is why vaccines were developed in the first place. Diseases spread until the vaccination came out.

We are so far removed from that process that we can't imagine what that mustve been like.

Furthest thing from ignorance, the government could care less about kicking your industry down a couple dollars, that's a charitable cause, but you think the same government that fought tooth and nail to keep DDT under wrapps would not do the same with vaccines....something you practically have to mention religious views to get excused from taking....yeah land of the free......would sooner admit fault.....by the way my opinion comes not only highly educated but highly researched, I didn't look at an article in life and form an opinion, so miss me with calling my opinion ignorant, by the way can you tell me all the ingredients within the latest mmr vaccine ? And like I have said in previous discussions, I may be against them, but I have learned its hard to convince others plus it may be a chance that the vaccine may help...a broke clock is bound to be right twice a day....I kid, but I tell people read...ask questions don't just accept medicle advice, why does my child need this, can we spread the shots out, what's in the shots, can you explain what effects those ingredients will have on such a young body, how well were they researched and for how long, how long have they been using this set of ingredients.....you know the formula constantly changes right....what's the risk.....all the risk because by regulation if a certain reaction only happens in a low amount they do not have to list it in immediate risk, but will show up in the expanded list, what's the percentage of my child contracting the symptoms, what's the percentage that my child will get said disease with out the vaccine ?

Man the responses here.... For real.... Some of y'all need to chill the fuck out. A lot of y'all aren't dealing with this issue daily as I am. I know some of us here have autistic children and if they're like me, their scrambling thru shot records to see if/when this shot was given to their child.

I hate even seeing this thread. Like, I appreciate the knowledge but where was this knowledge when my son was getting vaccinated? I would love for my son to be perfectly fine n healthy. however, this isn't the case.

Fam y'all don't know I'm fighting back tears as I type this. I ask questions every time I take aiden to the doctor. Every shot he's ever gotten I ask "what's that? What does it do? Are there any side effects?" I'm just as concerned with what goes into his body as I am with what goes into my body. Even with me asking questions and researching it on my own, I still would not have known about this possibility because the information was omitted and essentially hidden by the CDC.

If I, as a parent, know that there's even the slightest possibility that something supposed to help my son could have such adverse side effects, I can PROMISE YOU he wouldn't have gotten that shot.

They've already made the connection to the rising age in which people are having children so there is actual information out there for people that want to know.

Because almost all children, particularly Black children, have been vaccinated.
I'm sure they have a lot of other similarities too (such as all of them being Black) that have nothing to do with their autism.

Based on what knowledge are you pulling this from, I won't say it's the only factor but I will say it might possibly a strong indicator, we don't necessarily know, we talking about how vaccines are so amazing for such a longstanding time but we put out medication that gets pulled less than a year later due to bad reactions or death.....but vaccines are un flawed all these years ?

Based on what's statistics ? Plagues happen because of lack of hygiene, and a disease process, when's the last time we had a plague ? And everyone does not get vaccinated. Look I'm not mad that you have your views and I don't expect to change anyone's opinion based off of a brief discussion on a porn board I'm just trying to give you a new way of looking at the discussion, I could easily give you information to dispute things, and you can get information to refute my claims, the point always is to read and stay informed not just things that promote your opinion but those that refute it, then make your decisions as more information is presented, most people came in here ready to chop this down without even reading the article, and most who are talking the loudest feel because they watched some shit on YouTube or read a couple articles off of time or the huffington post they are all of a sudden well versed on the subject.....no you are not
