And say what that he hasn't already said? They both agree that 15 years ago (when they were both aged 20-something graduate students) she willingly went with him to his hotel room, started kissing on his bed and eventually sucked his dick. And after that one sexual encounter they never saw or spoke to each other again. The difference of opinion is that he considered that encounter both then and now to have been between two single consensual adults, while she now considers it to have been a sexual assault.
If she didn't want to play his flute, unless he had a gun or knife, she wouldn't have.
Her trauma & grief didn't stop her from earning her PhD., which is a testament to her will & strength.

I read Dr Tyson's statement carefully and one thing stood out to me. She indicated she crossed paths with Lt Gov for two days and they conversed several times. However, it was only cordial, not flirtatious. Then she goes on to say he asked her to walk with him to his hotel room to pick up some papers, she stood in the doorway, he pick up the papers and randomly kisses her. She was surprised, but his advance was welcomed.
Call me crazy, but I don't randomly kiss women that I have a cordial, non-flirtatious relationship with and I definitely don't think women general welcome advances from men they have only a cordial, non-flirtatious relationship with. It made be a small point, but I think the doctor is being less than truthful about her attraction to the Lt Gov and possibly flirting with him prior to the alleged assault. Obviously, flirting does not give anyone the right to sexually assault someone, but it makes me question her credibility and/or his sanity. If randomly kissing and sexually assaulting women he has cordial relationships with is his M.O. he is mentally ill and more women will come out. Sexually predators usually are repeat offenders.

Went to school with her. She's cool people, totally credible. It's pretty much he said she said. She took it to the Washington Post years ago but they never had corroborating evidence to publish the story. It ain't like she was waiting for him in the cut to "take a brother down". We were still friends on FB but she shut it down after posting about this over the weekend.

"Sexual Assault" is a crime laden description. It could be everything from a forced 'Ghetto Gaggers' scenario to the forceful vaginal rape of a bound woman. Fairfax is not that dude. This Tyson woman in my opinion is a woman scorned. Decades later she sees him going up the ladder of 'establishment' success and she regrets the fact that their brief rendezvous did not go further. That's my opinion about what this is.

That's good breh. The Justin part was just jokes not an attack. I conceded that I may be biased by the fact that I knew her. There's nothing for me to backpedal. I can definitely see the big picture and the angles. It was a while ago and people can change. I can only speak to the character that I knew.
