Wendy Williams’s care team has announced that she has been diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and dementia.
FTD, according to Johns Hopkins Medicine, “is a group of disorders that occur when nerve cells in the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain are lost. This causes the lobes to shrink. FTD can affect behavior, personality, language, and movement.”
There are several types of FTD, the frontal which affects behavior and personality and the primary progressive aphasia form that affects communication.
Primary progressive aphasia has two variations: progressive nonfluent aphasia, affecting the ability to speak and semantic dementia, affecting the ability to understand and use language.
There is another form of FTD, which is less common, that causes symptoms similar to Parkinson’s or Lou Gehrig’s disease, Johns Hopkins said.
The cause of FTD is not known.

That's terrible. I know a lot of folks don't like her for her gossiping ways. However, she did put Puffy on blast back when many were afraid to risk their career doing so. She also put Dirty Kelly, on blast back when many were still making excuses for him. I just hope she gets the care she needs and her son sticks with her.

Same thing I was saying, I was waiting on her to take her wig off and see just a few strands of hair sticking up on her head
Why? Because she reveled in airing people's private business, and she did it in such a mean-spirited way with no regard for the people she was harming.. You reap what you sow and she deserves the bitter harvest of tragedy and disappointment she's experiencing.
Funny thing is before she came for me I liked her when she was in Philly on Power99. I don't wish any actual ill will toward her, but she, her fam, and fans can't say shit about folks who may talk shit about her condition because she was no holds barred with people, sick or healthy.
