just got it in yesterday. I only sprayed it once so I need to give it a full wearing before I can review it. I'm pretty sure its the reformulated version though

i'll give my perspective, hopefully it helps.
as far as being "worth it" i'm gonna say no. not that it isn't an outstanding fragrance company (i think green irish tweed & millisime imperial can go head to head with damn near any fragrance made). the thing is no one will know that you spent $300 on some smell goods unless you tell them & in that case what's the point when you can spend $40 on something else & still get compliments? it's not like a car when if you spend more & more money people can see the value go up or even a suit. for that same 300 you can get like 6-7 designer bottles, smell different every day of the week or just buy 1-2 bottles & pocket the rest of the money. on the other hand, if you're into treating yourself, creed is among the best money can buy & you will smell the quality ingredients into making it. if you wipe your ass with hundred dollar bills go for it, otherwise you can get more bang for your buck with some of the other names mentioned in this thread & get cooperation. also keep in mind that just because it's expensive doesn't mean everyone will like it. there is no such fragrance in existence

Depends on yourself buy samples and judge for yourself. Creed is a niche fragrance and most niche fragrance houses demand high prices but sometimes you fall under their spell because you believe their hype into spending money . A simple test to see if it's worth the money just buy a sample with other reasonably priced perfumes and ask a stranger without telling them the price.Don't be fooled into thinking spending more money means better quality because you will be thoroughly disappointed. Plus there are other niche fragrance houses which blow creed out of the water like Tom ford private blends, Nassamato, Serge LUtens, amouage or comme de garcons
