I agree with the upbringing part and will toss in your peers for a thousand. I was completely oblivious to males hitting females until one of my associates did it to his girl. Completely threw me off guard. And the fact that she accepted it as normal distorted my overall perception of the male/female dynamic.

Co-sign. I have absolutely no problem being respectful to anybody particularly women. But unfortunately, some people try to take kindness for weakness and then say or do little out of pocket things simply because. At that point, you've earned whatever disrespect comes to you whether it be on the street or on the internet.

i think its the inability to judge/deal w/ individual interactions on an individual basis that gets a lil frustrating. if we as women lumped and treated all men in the same category we would be wrong so what's does that say about men who do it on this board?

It isn't men who stand up for women that get called simps, it's men who act like pussies for PUSSY (real or "internet") that get called simps. I stress cordiality most of the time but I do not discriminate against anyone in my anger and I don't trade off respect, if you knew me in real life you would probably fear for your safety as my anger can escalate into a rage. This may be one of my last posts, so I'll try to answer this question... If you have one, you may have to email me your response cause as I've read in a day or so I might not have access to the board.

The disrespect women are shown on the board is just a magnification of the disrespect black women have to endure in everyday life. granted it's kicked up a about 10 times because the internet offers anonymity. I see this a lot and I think there are a few causes for this kind of social behavior...
First I have to say that one of the blames comes from the fact that because so many men have been raised in singer parent homes with mothers that were both father and mother, A lot of black males were raised without learning that there is a real and distinct difference between how they deal should deal with women. A lot of men do not recognize the difference between a man and a woman. So the idea that if I'm having locker room talk with a bunch of dudes, then it's ok to have locker room talk with women in the same manner, as that woman is equal to the men. This is a false notion. Women and men are NOT equals. This doesn't mean that I'm saying women are lesser but they are not a man's equal. Women are woman and men are men. however not many men (or women) get to learn this thus leading to dysfunctional interactions through out life. This is in life and on the board.
Another reason is that many men learn at an early age that the male female relationship is a give and take affair..I give you some thing you give me something. So when a woman maker her presence known on the board immediately she is challenged and tested (why does ever female get pressed for photos...? Why do the porn actresses get insulted when they post? Why do women who don't produce some value for a man first get "labeled" as a bitch?). In this forum the only thing of value many of the posters have to offer is there "net respect" so if you want that you need to give something in advance, and if you don then you don't get respect. If you don't believe me look at how man people replied to this thread with "respect must be given before it's received"... this is a great thing in the world of men, but not in the form for male female interactions, because regardless of the situation, women always prefer to be treated like women. And when women don't initially get the respect that they feel they are due to them because they are women it does emotionally touch them (regardless how much they say it doesn't..if it does this thread wouldn't have so many female replies).
Women have learned this and have internalized it. thus also making you at fault as well.
Bad women make worse men, and I'm sure every woman in this thread will plead not guilty to the act of devaluing the men that show her respect from the onset, and having god-like worship for the man that barely acknowledges her existence in his world. However it happens, and we men have been taught though our experiences that women prefer have to earn their space ( and respect ) with us. We are also taught that the man that recognizes a woman as a woman, and treats her like a woman from the first minute hes see her is seen by women as lacking in some way and is not suitable. How many of you women lost interest in a man because he wasn't "man enough" in your opinion? How many time have you women been turned off by a man because he showed you "too much attention"..or "was too respectful". How many of you women will admit to expressing your interest in a man because of his "thuggish" nature. I'm sure none will admit to it in this thread, but it happens, and we all know it.
So I think we all just need to either change our behavior or accept that this is just the way things are and make the best of out our evolving situation.

So are you saying that guys on board don't run females off, especially the main board. That's bull even when they, themselves say they do. NO I didn't say this should be any of the females channels you listed, I stated that this is a porn board and because of the extremes they take with women, why should the females on board expect soo much different.
