I always felt this chick was just another in a long line of "Great White Musical Hypes".
I wasn't impressed with her first few CDs.
But ADELE's "30" in the BEST Pop work I've heard this year.
Shit's a musical, technical and songwriting MASTERPIECE!
Can't stop listening to it.
It's like it was produced by Burt Bacharach and/or Arif Mardin from those 60s Pop days.
With Dusty Springfield (who I constantly compared her to) and Barbara Streisand.
But with Modern Pop sensibilities.
Fellow Old Heads know who and what I'm talking about.

The piano riff and the way the drums/bass come in quietly at 3:27.
And I'm a sucker for backing choirs.
