LMBAO!!! Okay,,,somebody in the "know" please explain this to me, cause I'm feelin' a certain type of way about it!!! This "Cosplay" thing, where did this come from? It wasn't until my late 20's when I said, 'fuk what y'all like, Im'a like what I like' and if I have to defend it, so be it. That meant openly admitting my affinity for scifi, anime, comic books, and video games. And I vowed that I'd never put'em down and when I reached a certain economic level, I'd do my shyt to the max. Now, for a Black Man to admit those things back then was like, uh, nygga when you gonna grow up??? I was like
fuk you, in response. So now here I am, in semi-retirement with a buck or two to indulge myself and I find this. A couple of days ago I responded to a push notice from Face Book, and while bumping around I came across some chick playing, "Call of War", and she's on the screen with the controller in her hands with about 3/4ths of her tits popping-up out of her shirt!!! When did all this get started, when did chicks get interested in video games and making sexy outfits out of comic book character uniforms!!!???

Lol bruh it’s always been a thing. It was always a little kept secret for nerds tho. Anime heads and sci fi geeks have always been aware. Go to an anime convention. You will literally see outfits that belong in a strip club. When I was in high school we went to anime conventions all the time. Last one i went too was some years back in LA. it was huge. It’s like Halloween. U know how it’s the one day a year a girl can dress slutty and not be shamed for it? Well it’s like that for nerdy girls. U will see girls who u would NEVER think twice about dressed up in the smuttiest school girl outfit. Pre 2000, anime hadn’t taken off like it has now and neither had all this alternative lifestyle shit. Anime and cosplay gave girls an outlet for their awkwardness and to be sexy (or kawaii) and not have to be guilty about it.
