One of the first gifts one of my past girlfriends gave me was a Spike Lee DVD set..
That's when I knew I was gonna keep her around for a long time..she's now my wife of 15 years
Spike has always been one of my favorite directors, my personal favorite is "Mo better Blues" followed by Malcolm X, He got Game, Inside man, school daze, clockers, Miracle at Saint Ana, Do the right thing, Jungle fever
Even the ones that were panned by critics had great elements and ive rewatched them numerous times..."25th hour" , She hate me" "Get on the Bus" etc.
