I can tell you this: when I hit past 130, definitely 150 you have to keep blinking your eyes to get those tears to keep your eyeballs moist. Dunno if it was just me but when I went past 180 felt like I was entered the matrix lol. That was with two passengers. Only on a straight away though. Never on a side street or built up area. Only idiots try stunts in a built up area.

Fastest I've been is 145. That was enough for me on the highway. 180 had to be scary as shit!!!!

I was driving on a stretch of highway last night which runs about 10 - 12 minutes. Minimal traffic, but with all the colder weather in recent months there's a fair number more potholes, etc. Some got patched in January, but with all the rain & milder temps lately there's some newer ones which are just waiting to fuck up your tires & alignment.

The speed limit is 80km, but most people regularly do 90 - 100. Some cars are easily doing 120 - 140 and fly past you. I was keeping my speed down yesterday as the lighting isn't too good, it was pouring rain & also foggy. Cars were still flying past me ... on corners at that. Wild. The road sort of zigzags too like a snake.

I have a high resolution camera that is running at all times when I'm driving and I never see anything like this. I'm waiting for an incident to happen because I will post it here.

Who here has a dash cam that runs when the car is on?

Definitely been thinking about getting a camera. There's some really bad driving in B.C. and have had some close calls ... but fortunately no serious crashes. But with the amount of "pressured driving" going on ... something's bound to eventually happen.

I've had one for 2 years. I've caught a few crazy things on cam. I've even submitted a few clips to those Dashcam Youtube channels.

Once you have one and see how valuable it is to have one in case some jerkoff hits you and then tries to blame you, you will never be without it!
It's visual and audible insurance against scammers and idiots.
