Which one should I buy PS5 or Xbox Series X?

I'm getting an Xbox Series X and have always preferred Xbox consoles.
However I've always found the fanboy shit for either system goofy as hell.
Both systems are good and neither is really superior except in the mind of the people who think you have to choose one or the other.

My coworker made a good point Diego. He said since retailers lost so much money during this pandemic they greenlighted that shit themselves. Now sure they needed to go ahead from Sony but I believe the plan was to do it on the 17th. It still was too early after sitting on the price for soooo long. Terrible marketing strategy. They better do another fuckin organized pre-order and stop bullshittin.

Why the rush to get these systems now if the games are going to be on the current generation of systems? Also, why rush into it when it's been shown that many of the good games come out (and the kinks are worked out of the consoles) 6 months later at the earliest?
I have both, but they have been collecting dust. I haven't played the games yet (hell, that goes for previous generation consoles for me, too - not enough time). I'll wait a bit on this one, but I'll probably buy both and hope that my time frees up.

Just saying: The fact that Microsoft, when faced with the fact that all the information had been leaked, rolled with it, and then basically took the "Shop the competition, we'll be here when you get back" approach is showing a lot of confidence. And like it or not, the disorganization of Sony's launch, along with a lot of metoo's in terms of features (to the best of their capabilities) has them looking like they are on the low ground.
It's probably going to be a good year or two before I buy one, but either way, this is definitely going to be the best generation in terms of overall competition since the 16-bit days.

In my opinion I don't think it would have mattered, PS5 were going to be hard to get no matter what. Hell I didn't have an easy time getting a PS4 when it dropped. The demand for the PS5 is more than it is for the Xbox Series X. No shade at Xbox but that's just facts. I usually get both consoles but I always get the Playstation first but if I can't get one, I might cop that Xbox then.Now I agree with this 100%. Sony royally fucked this up. You wait till the last fuckin minute with pricing details and don't tell anybody the shit is avaliable for pre-order? That's fucked up. It's not hard at all what Microsoft did.

True. I just don't have the time for both with working 60-90hrs a week depending on overtime and learning to play the guitar. So I gotta choose one.
Get rocksmith for the Xbox. You can plug your Guitar into it and learn to play with the game giving you lessons
