7. Tammy Duckworth: The Illinois senator continues to fly under the national radar when it comes to the VP selection process. She's not on national cable TV much and not giving interviews where she floats herself as a possibility. But there's a lot to recommend her -- including her military service that led to the loss of both her legs and the full use of her right arm, the fact she is the first US senator to give birth while in office and her moderate politics that line up nicely with Biden's own.

She's the one that created the phrase "Private Bonespurs".

Highly unlikely that she accept, but if Michelle Obama throw her hat in it it's ova :itsawrap:
No one picked Obama. Not Michelle, but Barack. That would be the lick. He gets to be president again.

Sheeid, Michelle was done at the end of BO's term. I'll hit the lottery before she gets in there.

Barack as the BP would be like a movie sequel...how's that USUALLY play out?

I think the more practical thing would be if Obama was VP, it would appear he was really running shit behind the scenes.

Cacs would have a massive breakdown with more Obama LOL

I think it should be Baldwin or Warren since Biden's major weakness is a lack of enthusiasm with young and liberal voters.

Warren's state has a Republican governor who would appoint a replacement senator and giving up a senate seat unnecessarily is a bad idea, so Baldwin would be my pick.
I'd still take Warren over Baldwin. Tammy Baldwin doesn't even excite WI voters all that much. Warren's replacement may be selected, but can they keep the seat as an appointed incumbent come the next cycle? I'm not sure, but I'd bet against it.

Nothing against Tammy but it would be like keeping minutes using a Sundial, in my mind.

I thought the donors want Hillary Clinton in to replace Biden?

Where you read that?

Best thing Hillary can do is stay away...
No campaigning... Just show at the convention and bounce...

More Obamas... less Clintons

Well that's teh things. Everyone has their own version of what "the donors" supposedly want.

If Biden does pick a woman (I doubt he will) she will probably lean more Conservative in her views and political background.

I doubt he will pick any from that list.

I can see him picking someone like Senator Kirsten Gillerbrand (D) of New York. She started her political career as a Republican and switched Democrat when she started moving up in New York State being New York is heavily controlled by Democrats.

She is a Democrat in name only and spearheaded the ouster of former Senator Al Franken with his sex scandal and bad mouthed President Bill Clinton with his prior sex scandals. She is not a team player with the Democrats and does not circle the wagons around colleagues when they are in trouble the way the GOP does.

Biden has also opened his big mouth saying he is open to having a Republican as a running mate. If he goes that route I would not be surprised if he picks Senator Susan Collins (R) of Maine. Her seat is threatened because of her support of Trump, the Trump tax cuts and other policies that Trump has kicked in that has fucked people over. She has a slim chance of getting re-elected this year.

Whoever Biden picks, it’s gonna be a big disappointment. Similar to Hillary picking Sen Tim Kaine in 2016. A person nobody gave two fucks about.

Out of the poll, I think Stacey Abrams will be the best choice.

He fucked up big time boxing himself into the VP pick being a woman, especially bc most are betting he buys the farm or becomes too incompetent to stay in office for 8 yes’s so the VP will be the de facto POTUS (ie Dick Cheney) or eventually the true POTUS, AND knowing how the most qualified female candidate maybe ever in Hilary Clinton lost the last election in no small part bc white women wouldn’t vote for her.

Man, you much not pay much attention to Biden.

He promised to pick a woman. Not doing it now would be the dumbest thing he could do. His running mate will be a woman. If we knew each other personally, I'd bet you as much money as I could on that.

The way we used to say, "Obama is playing chess..." Biden plays checkers.
He's a simple man; been in D.C. most of his adult life so politics is his DNA.
He's been described as a male version of a 'blonde bimbo' - getting by on looks & charm.
He says that his late son Beau was close to Kamala Harris when they both were their state A.G.s.
I believe the familiarity & sentiment from that relationship will tip the scales towards Sen. Harris.
Don't forget she's half Indian (red dot - not "WOO-WOO-WOO") so somma them will climb aboard the bus.

But watch Trump dump Pence and make Nikki Haley his VP mate in his attempt at 2 terms.

I like Stacey most but she won't bring voters that Biden already has. She can be head of HUD.

I don’t know why people are making a big deal with a VP. VP does not matter in a general election.

I think Biden is making a huge mistake picking a women candidate. It just seems like your pandering and it has never worked. Mandale got wiped out in 1984. McCain Lost to Obama in 2008, Hilary Lost.

And this this pandemic people are not going to trust a women to lead especially in stressful, hectic times.

Why you think all this Feminist talk and the Metoo talk died down when this outbreak began?

It’s goes to show women just want the power but not the responsibility. When it gets real women look to
Men to lead them.

:hmm:

(I'm referring to the half-dead part, in case you still don't get it.)

Warren would be a terrible pick. The left wing progressives hate her because she did not endorse Bernie and Warren will definitely rally the trump base.

I honestly think he should drop the women card bullshit and just find somebody really qualified. All that woke pandering is not going to work when times are hard.

I even added "(I'm referring to the half-dead part, in case you still don't get it)" and you still totally missed the point. :smh:

He's not making a mistake picking a woman. He's making a mistake by publicly saying his choice must be female. :smh:

If he didn't catch the pandering bug, he would publicly said he was seeking the most qualified candidate while privately selecting the best women for the job. It's crazy how these people fucking up the easiest shit.

Yeah democrats have not learned that people vote based on policy and if they like you. Not skin color and gender. Gender did not help Hilary Clinton.

And then your going against a Master troll that is Donald Trump.

Over for what? Michelle Obama would make no difference. She isn’t as pro-white as Barack Obama, so the whites won’t come out in droves to vote because of her. Democrats only support so-called blacks when they are coons that can be controlled.

And here's how the media covered it, like Sanders hated women for not matching Biden's gender litmus test.

Basic facts:
