I am more concerned about impressionable black females who get dissed by their own vs. others who show appreciation. I could care less what jews/whites/latino men think of black women. Then if other men are doing the casting why aren't we as the black community pushing back? Does that make it more clear. I am concerned about black community issues within the black community. Now back to the colorism debate the biggest victims of colorism in the black community are light skinned black men and dark skinned black women. The most dislike I have seen for dark skin women come from color struck dark skin men. Light skinned men are looked at as soft pretty boys that are not black enough by mostly by the dark skin men. Dark skin men would clown light skin men all day but will covet a light skin woman. Basically they will diss us for being light but will want to date our sisters. Light skin women are put on pedestals and it always seem that is is dark skin men who put them on pedestals. To light skin men, light skin women are nothing special to us so we don't put them on a pedestal. This is not universal for all people but it represents enough that it is a problem. As a light skin black male I feel and understand what dark skin black women have to go through because it seems we have the same problem and that is lack of acceptance from dark skin men.

Not all dark skin men are colorstruck and not all black men put light skin black women on pedestals. However if you think that this does not happen in the black community then your head is in the sand. You are trying to make it look like I am trying to hate on the dark brothers but I am only pointing out the opinions that some themselves especially ones with some fame and celebrity have put in society. If that hurts your feelings and insults you then that means work must be done to rectify it. You say I am attacking dark skin brothers but you did not defend dark skin sisters. I have, can you do the same? Dark skin women are the most victimized and marginalized women in our community and I will speak upon it, I don't care who dislikes it.
