... this is a vaccine that has recently completed successful clinical trials and have been given to the general public around the world in the past few months... like all previous vaccines the clinical trials are the reliable stats until most vulnerable people are vaccinated over time, then long term stats can be gathered... but in the meantime the initial effort of vaccinating the vulnerable population has to be done.

... it's a personal choice brah... but for people who are vulnerable though old age, long term sickness, etc, it's a gamble between not taking it and risk getting the virus or protecting themselves from the virus by talking it.
... I had reservations about the vaccine a few months ago but over time I've seen friends and family receive it without any problems I'm beginning to gain more confidence with it...
.... I suppose as time goes on more people will accept it and be confident in taking it.

Everyone who is apprehensive about taking the vaccine has every right to be.
Given the history of our government, big Pharma and our people, there is not much room for trust.
BUT...
Look at it this way:
When have Americans set out to kill off their doctors?
Never.
Big Pharma needs their doctors, nurses, etc. because they are the connection between them and the public. A vaccine that kills the doctors, nurses and medics that take it would be quickly discredited. YES, a few people will die from taking the vaccine. Some people die from taking aspirin or any other drug on the planet.
No drug is risk-free. Its all risk-assessment.
If you have not already had covid and you work in a high risk situation and have no huge underlying health conditions preventing you from taking it, should you?
Its up to you, but I'd say yes.
If you have already had covid, have gotten over it (at least for the most part) and want to hold off and wait and see how the vaccine affects ohers, should you? Again, its up to you, but you can probably afford that indulgence moreso than someone who has not come into contact with it before.
Its all risk assessment but there are 260 different vaccines in development at this time. There is literally no way that they are all going to be designed to kill you. That's far more science fiction and requires a leap that every researcher working on the development of a vaccine is unaffected by covid and is evil. That's just stupid.
Most lab researchers are everyday people who care just as much about life as nurses, first responders and you. They don't want to die and they don't want others to die, either.

..... true... the quick push of it has made many people wary of taking it... I suppose the true test will be time.... as time goes on, over the months and years if the figures of deaths and hospitalisations go drastically down then more and more people will gain strong confidence in the vaccine when they see the effects of it working....
.... I'm hoping for the sake of health and well being that the vaccine is proven to be a big winner over time.
