Just in time for Android's tablet season, Hulu is finally bringing their Hulu Plus app to Android. They're not saying when exactly, or which phones will run it, but they did reveal you'll need Android 2.2 or higher to install the app. [Hulu] More »

negotiations take time.

Plus content makers/hosters will always go to apple quicker if only for the free press that they would get.

Hulu is full of shit. I tried to revisit it the other day (been a gap since they first game out) and this shit stopped my video after a few minutes and told me my "free preview" just ended.
me ---> on demand

doesnt matter since Android has surpassed Apple in sales and now people prefer it over the iphone.

fragmentation probably. a code/design/layout may work with one model and not others so then you need to optimize it to work across the board and find out how far back on the os you can go for it work. will it only work on the current os build? what are the lowest processor requirements etc etc etc..

I know as far as the Netflix app goes its security issues. And game developers have mentioned that as well.

Why does it take so long to get flash? Sucks I can't use Channelsurfing on my iPad.

i want a netflix app but netflix isn't sure when its coming to android b/c 1. they don't know how to code android and 2. google won't monitor users. netflix macs software for macs and windows but not linux whereas hulu makes a linux client and has a windows and mac client.

hulu probably just needs to learn to code android especially with the 3.0 tablets coming and they also need to make sure they get paid so they r likely deciding what model to use android users support ads and if the ads r annoying we will pay,

angry birds is coming out with an ad-free version in a few months b/c ppl will pay so they'll be making ad dollars and pay dollars. rovio is a good example of how to make money on android and i think more companies will follow they just need to learn to code android.

i could care less bout hulu honestly...i want a netflix app lol

are you kidding? people with iphones/ipdads dont want flash. they hated it before they found out the iphone wouldnt support it. they will tell you that flash sucks anyway and they dont want it. but let an announcement come out saying ipad will get flash support. those same people will throw it right in your face.

dont worry about netflix. it doesnt use flash, it uses silverlight, but for mobile devices and wii/ps3 its dumping silverlight and moving forward with html5. so its just a matter of making a specific android version. question is will they have to build 3 versions? one for chrome os, one for android and one for honeycomb?

99% of my Mac crashes are because of Flash. It's truly a shitty product. The iPhone has. Flash enabled browser available in the app store and there is no way I'd install that shit on my phone. I think sites that still use flash are just too lazy to update their shitty sites.

so if the iphone/ipad had flash from the beginning, would you have supported it?

If they are able to fix that shitty product on my Mac I would gain a little trust and give it a try on my iPad/iPhone. I suspect Apple would allow it then.

Lets be real here... Apple won't allow it because its a shitty product and crashes on the Mac way too often. When my browser crashes, 99% of the time its because of Flash. :smh:

Content providers seem to cater to Apple products. There aren't any sites that I use that are Flash only. All the worthwhile content providers stream their content in multiple formats to reach the widest possible customer base.

Flash is irrelevant. I know that bothers Apple haters but you cats really need to let go of all that hate.. its not healthy.

But in the meantime you STILL cant stream flash sites. Itll be dead when ALL sites have html5 until then...

Is this only a Mac problem? I've never had any of my computers crash because of flash. Not being funny, I really want to know.:dunno:

I'd venture to say yes. I've been a Mac users sine 2006/2007 and it's always Flash crashing my browser. When I was a Windoze users, it was the shitty OS crashing.

You bought a iPad thinking it was gonna get flash?
