She's pretty much fallen off the radar. No one seems to be talking about her anymore. An she's trying to (maybe) regain her glory days. She's a sad case right now. Somebody grab a cape.

Age man, life, some people take it with stride, some people get they ass whooped. She obviously doesn't place a lot of value in looks and appearance. She knew she was coming up there to be honored and didn't give a single fuck about dressing up and looking feminine. Vanity checked out.

Whatever her problems she appears comfortable in her own skin. That's an accomplishment far too many folks never achieve.

I'm watching Queen's Gambit and the main character is a child chess prodigy that starts in on drinking and drugs. One of the other characters approaches her with a story about a former chess player that was a prodigy as well, and turned to drinking and drugs then eventually killed himself. Drew Barrymore is one of the few child actors that made it through to the other side and kept acting. So many child stars are damaged people, and once the spotlight starts to dim, they can't cope with the fall.
She kickin some real shit tho. I listened to the whole thing.
She is still one of my favourite music artists of all time.
