it's funny to me how many mofokrs that spend their whole day on a porn board always talking about what's well known in the music/entertainment business like they are actually plugged into it.
So Ms Hill has to have mental issues because she doesn't play and isn't interested in the mainstream glitter and circumstance of Hollytweird.
It couldn't be that she wanted the music to reflect her thoughts on art and not a lot of the garbage that people release to make a dollar?
And of course, it had nothing to do with paparazzi and everybody in her business and personal life.
Why can't she just live her life with all you experts making judgments? It's not like she spends her days posting about your imaginary lives of luxury you share on a porn board.

I think somewhere between these two points is close to what's going on with her...
I think she wanted to a working creative but hates the pressures that come with it. I think she used hip-hop to get on but really wanted to have a career more based on singing. Case in point... why hasn't she point out a put rap joint since Miseduction? I mean it's safe to say that in the late 90s Hill could be named not one of the top female MCs but one of top MCs in the game period at that time and yet she didn't fall back on that to keep producing work.
I saw in a video someone said that Lauryn chafed at the idea that people thought or saw Wyclef as the creative push behind the Fugees which is the reason for her claiming sole credit on her solo joint because she wanted to get people to see that she's her own person and there's no svengali behind scenes responsible for her success as an artist. But that kinda backfired. Plus the fact that she hasn't produced another album since that time kinda proves that MAYBE Wyclef was the creative engine. MAYBE she's just a really good singer who needs producers and songwriters more than she thinks.
So she can show up to this bullshit on time but can’t show up to her own concerts which people pay her money? On time? Ok. She really is mentally ill and looking harder than a brick.
Her fine-ass looks were there on time but Lauryn got there an hour too late.
They probably told her it was two days earlier just to get her there in time.
The industry will do that to you and what people don't understand is that they doll you up every time you go out and are seen which cost $$$ but afterwards you go back to living regular life where shit isn't glam,how many records you sold doesn't matter,who you know and what you know doesn't either and all the fans say is "She's crazy","She's on drugs","She's broke" and never think to say "Maybe she's tired..."

We tend to forget Lauryn Hill has been like this going on nearly 20 years.
I know bro what I mean is at her concerts where she was 2 and 3 hours late then only had time for 2 songs and told people to suck it up but didn’t refund their money.

Fam, she made ONE dope album! You know how many dope albums, back to back, stevie made? She was just getting into stride. Should had dedicated herself to the music, at least for 5 more albums then dip. Her era of artists on up to now just don't seem made of the stuff.
