Just thought about this. People say Will had a breaking point, although he was laughing at the joke in the beginning. We seen Jada didn’t really like the joke from jump. We don’t see the exchange between Will and Jada prior to Will walking up. Who knows what look she gave Will or what was said between the moment we seen him laughing up to the point of the incident. Only Lupita would know that. Lol!
So this makes the whole breaking point thing is kinda invalid in my eyes because he laughed at the joke at first. The breaking point argument could be made if he had the same initial reaction that Jada did. Other than that, he seemed to be okay with it until the camera cut away to Chris. Jada had to have said some real shit to Will or he felt like a jackass seeing his wife’s reaction after he was laughing at her expense.

I have seen snap sessions go left like a mofo. DL was a master joker in his prime. If you went to a DL show and sat ANYWHERE in his view, you was fair game and everybody knew this.
It would even surprise me to see people that couldn’t take the joke, like why the hell would come to a DL show in the first place.
But if someone got up and slapped DL for it, then that would have always been a possibility.

Curious to know how the board views this incident and who's more at fault. I personally feel this was the result of pinned up frustration, over being the butt of so many jokes recently. Because Will's speech was so unorganized and random, I also wouldn't be surprised if he was under the influence of something. Regardless, actors get roasted at the Oscars every year and he should have handled that shit behind the scenes if he had a problem with it.
Chris Rock handled it well and it's unfortunate that this had to happen between two "black" actors for the world to see. All in all, this is more on Will than Rock. As an adult, you have to control your emotions and that wasn't the way to handle it.
