Ask your students this question & @killagram bruh you too.The only issue becomes that Chris has the power to sue and press charges if he wanted to.
Like I told my female students yesterday, your man can go “defend your honor” based on what someone said, but your not the one suffering the consequences if he physically attacks someone.
I can't rock with Will because he apologized after the fact. As a kid the only fights I never got in trouble for was protecting a female cousin or sister. You have to be unapologetic when protecting your mom, sisters or your woman. If a dude starts a transaction you gotta walk up and finish the transaction with the same energy. Chris knew he fucked up and took the slap to the chin didn't run. He still cracked one more joke after the slap as an icebreaker.
Question: Is there any honor in apologizing to the guy that just dissed your wife on National TV. Is there any honor in apologizing to the Academy because they might take away your statue and not invite you back to a stuck up event you personally boycotted 2 years ago?
I believe you gotta keep that same energy throughout the hole transaction. Like George Wallace used to say if the ambulance comes to you and the police go to the other guy you lost the fight. Chris not only took the slap but he finished hosting the show. The only person that needed consoling was Will. The woman who's honor he was protecting wasn't even by his side #shefordastreets.
