I just hit 100 straight myself. I'm unfamiliar with today's word, but I guessed it only because I had uncovered all the letters.

I was familiar with todays word for some reason..probably because I've read so many old ass books..dont think i've never used it in a sentence in my life.
It's funny.. i was struggling to figure out yesterday's word but it's a word used in my house constantly cause my wife is always on the search for the perfect one ( Duvet).
but that's one of the reasons I've been doing this as one of my mental exercises consistently in the mornings to help spark my brain before diving into the rest of the day.

I'm playing easy mode. My life is hard enough God damn it. I don't need to make difficult shit even harder.
I can usually figure things out by my four words:

FIGHT
CRUMB
That reveals most of the most popular letters. If there is a 'U' it opens the possibility for a 'Q', and I'm always cognizant of the possibility of the double letter.
I did make a New York Times account and it still reset my shit. The bastards. I was at 124

I didn’t know there was a hard mode.
This is a depressing revelation.
It says any hints must be used in future attempts… I thought my tactic of sacrificing a guess with a word that can’t be right was not commonly done but I guess not.
I’m gonna move over to hard mode now— prayers welcome!
Today’s was the hardest in a while, not sure I’ll get to 10 in a row on hard mode.

You got this brother. My streak is 245. Had a few close calls where I was on my last guess and had two choices. And just happen to pick right. Most times I’ll get it at the 4th.

My technique is simple. Expect double letters and expose as many common letters as possible with your guesses
PANEL
SWORD
FIGHT
CRUMB
Exposes all but 7 letters. If there is no U then there is no Q. R is used in 2 words, so if an R is in the word but in the wrong position, the second guess either exposes where the R isn't or where it is - still a win
Consider double letters
There is some knowledge of what letters can't be lined up next to other letters, so once you get green it's process of elimination.
I've got 113 in a row, my second time at 113 (best is 124), but on my last streak it goofed one night when I was showing someone thw game and started me over at zero so this is really 237 in a row
