I'm split on this. On one hand I like seeing us have communities that are mostly us and thriving. That said, I see negatives of self segregating. I'm seeing a trend of us moving out of the inner cities and into suburban communities. I'm seeing the suburbs start to decline and the inner cities get more resources. Even when we control our communities,we don't control the resource allocation or decision making.
How can you be loyal to a box? like the guy said in the movie 99 homes. Houses are just boxes. You can't be loyal to a neighborhood. You work and build for yourself not for your hood. Makes sense that as you make more that you try to protect it.
