Good question... Because I am Black, and look through "Black" lens. Black is my focus through life.
Because the US government might be willing to pay Black folks that kind of money to leave. They would hate for us to get that type of money but I would bet, a majority of white folks would vote to give Black folks that money to leave America for good.

The US government (at least the most powerful ones that count) don't want us to leave.
They want us here as long as the pecking order remains the same.
It's sort of like an abusive spouse that treats his wife like shit and beats her but wouldn't know what to do if she actually leaves.

You're right, the higher ups want us here because they can get a lot of what they want by scapegoating Black folks, but in general, the regular white population would be happy with just watching Black folks on TV.
Would we sell our birth right as the original owners of the earth? Are our kids being raised to be successful devil? FYI, I got my Canadian citizenship like 7 or 8 years ago.
I was excited at the time and talking about giving up my US citizenship.
My father-in-law was like....naw, you better not do that.
He was 100% correct.
I have been in Canada for more than 15 years and am moving my Canadian family to the States.
Starting that green card process now....
I don't plan on being here in 5 years.
The US is definitely superior to Canada....stop believing those "stats" and "best places in the world" rankings.

I'd do this in a heartbeat as long as I am given a window of time to leave (6 months to a year). I already have French residency through marriage, and currently looking for a place in South France. As long as there is nothing prohibiting activity in my current investments (that'd I'd aggressively fortify with some of that new money).
