Because people don't consume multiple sources of media. If you've taken one college class, you'd have learned to research multiple sources for a paper that needed to be written, and those sources had to be reputable. Having a deep bias corrupts a person's mind, and makes reputable sources seem like lies because they don't agree with the bias. People that don't believe in climate change are trusting Tucker Carlson over a real scientist. It's insane to hear people repeat lies because their favorite network talking heads said something.

The radio station that I mostly listen to has an Ag Report on it twice a day, and they take callers. Many of them are farmers who have taken a bath on soybeans due Trump screwing up the market. The majority blame China, THEIR CUSTOMER, for their problems however, not Donald Trump.
Even if they are ruined, most will still vote for Trump because:
1.His racial views align with theirs.
2.His views on women are aligned with theirs.
3.He's going to “bring jobs back”.
4.He pisses off the “libtards".
5.Not doing so would mean that they made a mistake.
When you con people they blame everyone but themselves until they no longer can. And then they blame themselves last, only after they have constructed a narrative that makes the con artist “slick" and them not being easily manipulated.

They can't admit that, so they will vote for him again, regardless of how much financial damage that it's going to do to them. After all, at the very least, he thinks the same things that they do and for some people that's just enough to get the job done.

What Trump was saying was, reelect me and I will give you 1 or 2 more supreme court justices and that means that gay rights can be rolled back, abortion can be made illegal and religion can be forced down people’s throat again.
The balance of the court has already shifted dramatically and Christians are willing to tolerate anything that Trump does in order to get one more person on the court. So woke liberals might role their eyes and assume that whatever happens they can roll back stuff but thats actually not true. They will have to wait for the Bush and Trump appointees to die or retire and that might take some time. And if Trump gets 1 more pick, which might happen with RGB not being very healthy, the USA will have more in common with Saudi Arabia compared to Europe.
