We have fucking posts on Jan 26 on BGOL about China shutting down mass transportation with pictures of construction for hospitals. We're random guys online. SOME on BGOL were pointing out how huge a deal this was, but I admit to being like

Same here, I was sleeping on this myself until about two weeks ago.
The difference being as you've stated we don't have the access to and aren't receiving the information that our governments are.
Truth be told the lack of reaction from government has been and continues to be the biggest contributing factor the continued spread of this virus and therefore the inevitable deaths that will result from it.
“Looks” like Italy’s curve is beginning to flatten when it comes to the number of confirmed cases.
Iran’s curve has too more of a linear approach versus exponential and could be flattening.
The US has the fast growth in the world. Along with Spain, France, UK, and Canada.
New York has 23k confirmed cases. That’s half of the confirmed cases in the United States. Wow.

Again the United States was too slow on testing and still is....I feel like the infected numbers in the United States is a lot higher than what is being reported. In these times I wish Obama was still in the White House.

I'm starting to fear that the US government and certain states governors will intentionally limit access to testing in order to keep confirmed cases low so that they can avoid shutting everything down to contain the spread as we have in New York as well as California, etc.
Trump is already stating he wants this to end by Monday so I don't trust his willingness to continue diagnosis/prevention.

If you know people with mental health issues or problems with addiction... check in on them. This isolation can kick other issues into overload... especially check in on Kats that have had a history of depression. In my part of the world... it’s been dark and gloomy all year... combine that we isolation and you have a a potent cocktail.
Also be mindful of your alcohol intake... I can definitely see how one could easily be an alcoholic through this. I’ve never had anything close to a problem and even i noticed that I’ve drank way more Beer then I normally would. I had to completely remove it from the house. Just be mindful.
