Xbox Series X/S Microsoft - Black Ops 6 was the biggest Call of Duty release ever, setting a record for day one players as well as Game Pass

I want to thank all that contribute here. You guys already helped me with game pass. I also got the headphones as well. I will admit I use to love my PlayStation and picked up the X series because it was way easier to get. I was like this will hold me over until the PS5 will be available in the stores. But with gamepass I have no desire for a PS5 now. Haven’t even touched my PS4 in a month since I got my X Series.
I use to rock with Sony too but they fucked over me 1 too many times. Welcome to the family.

The Sony fan boys have been saying all week that Game pass is nothing but a rental service that will take away your games after 3 to 4 months. And " I prefer to buy $70 games" I wonder what they will say now. LMFAO

Lol they were hyped until people pointed out the fine print and then they said Xbox takes games away ... I wasn’t like yeah but not after 3 months.

Also this is like the first time PSnow made an announcement like this in a minute.

It’s crazy cause PSnow is killing gamepass in the amount of games but all the good first party shit is streaming... and the streaming sucks ass

For example... Why the hell is the God of War and Metal Gear series streaming only... like that makes no sense.. who wants to play a laggy God of War.

Sony also fucked up by removing the ability to claim your PS+ games on the app or the web. You have to fire up your playstation... it’s like everything requires an extra step.
It can still be done. Just takes like like 10 clicks now on the new website. I miss the old one. I just added them all to cart and checked out. Now its Add to Library, Go Back, repeat.

You would think that with the bad press that Sony has been getting lately that they would at least try to have some kind of presence at this years free virtual E3. I know they have skipped the last couple years .... but it would be nice to join with the other studios this year... to show a untied approach of coming back together..

E3 2021 Plans Announced: Xbox and Nintendo Involved, No Sign of Sony

Nintendo, Xbox, Capcom, Konami, Ubisoft, Take-Two, Warner Bros, and Koch Media confirmed.

The Electronic Software Association has announced its plans for the first digital-only E3, which will include Nintendo and Xbox, but currently does not include Sony.

Taking place from June 12-15, E3 2021 is confirmed to include appearances from Nintendo, Xbox, Capcom, Konami, Ubisoft, Take-Two Interactive, Warner Bros. Games, Koch Media.

Sony is conspicuous by its absence on that list, and we've contacted the company for comment. Other major missing companies include EA (which has recently preferred to host its own EA Play events during E3's timing), Square Enix, Sega, Bandai Namco, Tencent, 505, and Activision Blizzard.

The ESA makes clear that the list of partners marks "early commitments", so other publishers and developers could come onboard at a later date. However, before the show's pandemic-related cancellation, Sony had confirmed that it had no plans to attend E3 2020.

After announcing that the show would return as a digital-only event, the E3 website promises "live press conferences and a four-day long video stream," and says the show will be "a reimagined and hyper-engaged digital experience."

Concrete details about the show remain thin on the ground, but ESA president Stanley Pierre-Louis used a press release to say: “We are evolving this year’s E3 into a more inclusive event, but will still look to excite the fans with major reveals and insider opportunities that make this event the indispensable center stage for video games.”

What we know for sure is that the event will be entirely free. After previous reports that parts of E3 2021 could be put behind paywalls, the ESA told IGN that "E3’s 2021 digital show is a free event for all attendees".

Mass Effect Legendary Edition Changes - Original vs. Remastered Performance Preview

If they could remove walls and shit.. why not just go for a full REMAKE of Mass Effect one...

I'd wait another year if happy as fuck.... if they did a proper full remake of that game.

It is like they are conceding the election. M$ got so much momentum and $ony needs to do something to break it. Silence is not the answer.

Facts...

Just like I said last year... Sony is acting exactly like how they did with the PS3 and how Microsoft acted with the Xbox One...

They are still selling numbers... but with this Chip shortage and game delays ..... Microsoft has a clear advantage right now.

It just makes more sense to have an Xbox .... especially when they drop streaming this summer. If they can provide Series X like visuals through streaming.... then you could almost get the same feeling of having an xbox series x through your Xbox One.

Plus you will be able to play your games on your phone, console and computer seamless ..... that's something that Playstation just can't do right now.

Imagine if Microsoft gets this going and then launches a movie/tv streaming service to incorporate into it :eek2:

I think they are going to stay far far away from trying to do movie/tv services again... Even though I do wish they left the over the air antenna cable service.

I hear you.

But if this continues to he successful and grow the infrastructure and customer would already be in place.

They could start working on setting up a streaming service quietly and wait until Game Pass is totally up, running and stable begin rolling out their movie/tv streaming service by making it free with game pass for a few months.

After people start using that service they can just make it $10 or less with Game Pass and undercut Netflix, Disney, etc.

The S is an easy cop. I grabbed one for my offspring. I could've grabbed 10 more smh. I even had that bitch sit in my cart and be able to check out for a whole week in my area for Best Buy last week. Nobody wants that shit. Where's the X at? Gamestop still has Series S bundle.
