I'm hoping there will be a Series X without a disk drive. I haven't bought a physical game in years at this point.
If they announce a diskless version I might try to cop day one, otherwise I think the One X and game pass will probably hold me down until next year.
Same for PS5 really. Miles Morales was probably what I was looking forward to the most and if I can play that on PS4 I don't see a reason to rush to that one either.

I noticed a couple of my friends who always have a "critical question" about the XBox, haven't said shit about Sony. Just focused on getting their preorders in. But man I swear to fuckin God that I'm gonna lose it if RE8 is being held back by Sony. Questioning which system God of War is coming to now.

yep sure does work good.now i will say one thing i had a bit of lag once but thats it.thats after playing 10 games
There is noticeable lag with First person shooters .... I wouldn't recommend playing Halo with this.
Microsoft is probably going to lose the console generation this time... but I'll say that they are clearly operating as a more consumer friendly option especially after the PS5 pre-order fuck up.
If you really think about it.. they have only one true ps5 game Demon Souls and they are charging 70 bucks for it.

Nothing they can do to stop that with console sales but setting yourself up as a service will make up for it in the long run.
