I just saw this...
Yesterday I finally tried out console streaming from my xbox to my computer which works really well
but this streaming from console to the phone ... is fucking insane ... this is exactly what they want to do.
If they come up with a way for me to be able to play games from my xbox on my phone while my girl is able to watch Netflix on my xbox .... this shit will be a fucking MAJOR WIN!!

So does this mean we may not get it on release day or not at all?
I knew I should have placed multiple pre-orders just in case.
If they get more from Microsoft you will get yours on the 10th.
Same thing happened to the PS5 orders the week before. That's why i made sure to keep trying to get more after i got my first pre order.
No way to know really, we'll definitely get it but what they're saying is they can't guarantee it will be received kn release day.
I assume they've sent this to everyone who pre-ordered from them as a precautionary measure in the event they don't have or secure enough.
We'll see.
I was pumped about securing one but at this point I'm not going to keep chasing a game console. If it comes it comes, if not I'll wait until shit dies down and cop it later.

Same. I'm hoping my order from the M$ store doesn't have any issues.
Yeah, it's not a huge deal if I don't get it (for my son really) on day one.
It would suck if they outright cancelled the order though.

On the day they started taking orders I was on multiple sites trying to get one and ultimately got the Series X on Amazon but no where else.
Or so I thought.
Just to make sure I just checked my Microsoft account and I'll be damned if an email wasn't in there telling me an Xbox Series S was still in my cart.
I figured it was bullshit and don't really want Series S but said fuck it let's see if it goes through.
Sure enough after hitting refresh a couple of times the order went through and confirmed by email

The fact these stores aren't having any inventory of the S is interesting.
If both orders hold up I may try to flip the Series S for an extra $100 as well since I didn't really want it.
I would give it to one of my nephews but they're too stuck on Playstations.
No way in hell I'm spending over three hundred for them to let it just sit there.

Honestly the main reason I'm pumped to get the system when it first releases is because I've already pre-ordered Watchdogs:Legion which is releasing end of October and would much rather play it on a next-generation system.
