Yemen’s group Houthis, want direct fight with Israel and USA. 3/15 USA launch strike in Yemen, Washington sent extra aircraft carrier to region

if they get that accuracy rate down they will be a greater problem

Houthis are quick learners as Israelis realized, they laughed first when Houthis could barely reached Eilat extreme southern part of Israel, 5 months later they stopped laughing when Houthis reached Tel Aviv the same goes for naval warfare they’ll improve their game and achieve capabilities beyond what we saw during Biden’s administration !

Folks saying Iran assisting with this.

Iran deny any involvement. True or false we don’t know but upgrades are visible as you addressed.

Also… last I check Washington helps Tel Aviv

Just like these strikes supposedly happened because Houthis plan to stop shipping to Israel.

among Iran’s allies what makes Houthis special is that they’re surrounded by hostile powers (Saudis, EU…) so from the jump they built their military capabilities with that autonomy mindset, knowing that at any time the flow of weapons coming from Iran could be stopped.

What we see now is the result of that, they’re able to drastically improve on what was provided to them months, years ago !

Just so folks understand Trump attacking Yemen because Israel isn’t abiding by its ceasefire agreement. They stopped aid from entering Gaza over the last two weeks. Last week The Houthis leaders said Bibi have 4 days to lift the blockage of aid. If the blockade continues Yemen forces would block the seas heading to Israeli ports.

So instead of making them keep its commitments Washington rather bomb Yemen

Yea kinda backwards but that’s how we Americans does things over ya

Yep they have the need to improve and time to

Much of their land is destroyed so what they do, improve attacking equipment

out of all conflict I think this one might be one Americans might should pay close attention too.

Many folks in Washington have such a hard-on for Iran, they try anything.

Washington deciding to hit Iranian vessels(if true) have the potential to escalate matters.

This one of those simple situations that could have gas prices @ $20 a gallon.

Yeah real fucked up. Now we are officially involved in the conflict. IMO Trump already planned on getting involved and backing Isreal. Same with Russia in the Ukraine conflict. He pretty much put the opposition in a corner.

I thought Trump was gonna knock dude head off, just knew they was after him

The US strike on Yemen only escalated things, didn't slow them down at all..

Yemen's Houthi group said it launched a retaliatory attack against the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier in the Red Sea on Sunday in response to dozens of U.S. airstrikes on its positions, reported Xinhua.

"The American enemy launched a blatant aggression against our country with more than 47 air raids targeting Sanaa and seven other governorates," Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Sarea said in a televised statement aired by Houthi-run al-Masirah TV.

"In response to the aggression, we carried out a military operation, targeting USS Harry S. Truman and its escorts with a drone and 18 ballistic and cruise missiles," Sarea stated.

The Houthi attack came after the Houthi Supreme Political Council -- the group's highest governing authority -- vowed a "painful" retaliation, framing the American attacks as support for Israel and warning they would "drag the situation to a more severe and painful level."

The spokesperson also confirmed that his group would "continue to impose a naval blockade on the Israeli enemy" in its area of operations, including the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, until the entry of aid into Gaza is permitted.

U.S. warplanes launched extensive airstrikes across northern Yemen on Saturday night, targeting multiple Houthi-controlled locations. According to the latest Houthi estimates on Sunday, the bombardment resulted in at least 53 deaths and 98 injuries.

This is the first U.S. military operation against the Houthi group since U.S. President Donald Trump assumed power in January and redesignated the group as a "foreign terrorist organization."

Trump warned on the social media platform Truth Social on Saturday that if the Houthis do not stop their attacks on the Red Sea shipping, "hell will rain down upon you like nothing you have ever seen before," claiming the U.S. aerial attacks on the "terrorists' bases, leaders, and missile defenses were to protect American shipping, air, and naval assets, and to restore navigational freedom."

The U.S. Central Command said earlier on X platform that the airstrikes were launched from a U.S. aircraft carrier north of the Red Sea.

The U.S. airstrikes came days after the Houthi group announced on Tuesday that it would resume launching attacks against Israeli-linked shipping until the crossings of the Gaza Strip are reopened and aid allowed in.

From November 2023 to Jan. 19 this year, the Houthi group, which currently controls much of northern Yemen, including the capital Sanaa, launched dozens of attacks against Israel-linked ships and Israeli cities to show solidarity with Palestinians who are engulfed in a prolonged conflict with Israel.

The attacks later expanded to include U.S. and British ships after the U.S.-British navy coalition started to intervene and launch strikes against Houthi targets to deter the group.

The Houthis stopped their attacks on Jan. 19, when a Gaza ceasefire deal took effect.

I mean Biden send bombs them his folks in the UK kept striking Yemen
Israelis even sent strikes so technically we been involved

Biden/Blinken even tried to broker a deal with Houthis.

Now we are damn near at War with the Houthis? Then what happens? Which of their allies will we war with next?

They only have one friend and that is Iran

Well, Houthis, Hezbollah, Hamas, etc. stand in solidarity with Palestine. The conflict picked back up when Israel blocked supplies (food, medical, mobile housing, etc.) from entering Gaza, violating the terms of the Ceasefire. So, here we are. The U.S. and Israel cannot take on the entire region over there without major economic and military costs, much less win. Additionally, Saudi Arabia could turncoat on the U.S. and its proxy, Israel, at any second if things escalate.

IF Iran jumps in later, shit will get ugly for the U.S. economy that's already headed for a recession.

Welp, so much for the "no new wars" campaign promise IF things escalate.

Correct They all stood in solidarity with Palestine but not really each other.

Seem like everyone supports or voiced support for Hezbollah.

Can’t say the same about Yemen’s Houthis

Who’s going in that water for them like they did for Gaza

Well, the resurgence of the conflict is just beginning. There will definitely be more military alliances IF things escalate.
