Ray Allen just does not belong with Kobe, Jordan and Jerry West. Not even a video game Ray Allen.

I'm judging as basketball players, taking into account both factors.
I fixed it for West. I'm comfortable with Goodrich being a write-in vote ("other").

Health is the only thing that keeps him off the list. Otherwise, Penny was better than Allen, Miller, and McGrady.

Creating polls 101. Most people select from items listed on the poll and may not recall others at time of responding to polls. Your poll essentially says "Of the players I listed, who are the Mt. Rushmore". Hell, I didn't think of Iceman until I clicked submit but it was too late.

The inclusion of an "Other" option suggests the list is not complete... Other makes the list infinite, the opposite of "Of the players I listed, who are the Mt. Rushmore?"
The number of people who voted "other"-- one right now-- suggests the list of named options was pretty good. The fact is George Gervin, Sam Jones, etc were not coming close to top 4. But they can be factored into the polling.
