end of My Expert Opinion Podcast. ( Bigga left, now Champ out too) BagFuel up next

dre would let a rapper repeat one word 16 times

camron was like we out lol

end

For the record... words are misused daily in studios and brothels

Cam should be careful telling that story because some of those words may not have been appropriate around underage ears.

Especially using them 16 times? Well under the legal limit.

For shame.

To an extent

Puff would come into a session and a beat would already be done

He would come in do adlibs and tell the hitmen that his name goes first

Facts

But damn near every producer says that Puff ear for what is a hit was unparalleled and he was a like a master coach and instructor and had this f*cking knack to sprinkle something and make a good track? A timeless classic.

Sidebar...

"Slow down son you killing em" is one of the greatest moments in an Era FILLED with historical music. I can NEVER take that take that away from Sean Combs.

Cause if it was so easy? How come so many can't do it? Still.

Sidebar 2...

Someone needs to do a mini music documentary on the birth and art behind the adlib. Puff, Tah, Jeezy off top probably the top 3 ever?

Not as much as people like to give him credit for

I won’t take away from him that he knew what ol school songs would hit with them remixes

But as far as original beats I’ve eye witnessed him walk in sessions and walk out with production credit

Raphael Saddiq is a production thief too

It's a little complicated in that specific relationship

From every thing I have heard?

Nobody does anything with Dre without their eyes wide open. So ain't no shady business in that sense. Every body knows the rules.

To me that's the best way. And I ain't trying to hear no sob story afterwards.

It's the bad lawyers and executives and managers and production deals I hate.

So far I ain't never heard that with Dre from a legitimate source

People like Berry Gordy, Puffy and Beyonce will hear a complete track then FORCE changes so they can claim production credit.

One day the truth will come out about these tactics.

The original producer has no choice and some of these changes are lame and not needed.

Rihanna has never been credited as a producer.
Beyonce forces herself on songwriting and producing credits. That is KNOWN.
If you want to work with Beyonce she is gonna take your shit.
