You would love to believe that relationships happen by accident, but in reality they don't. You would run into Angelique "Angel" De la Cruz in passing at work and one day you just struck up a conversation with her over some crazy person having talking to themselves. From that point you and Angel developed a friendship, and you found out that she was a divorced single woman raising 2 teenage children and currently living in East Harlem.
Angel had temporarily removed herself from the "dating game" because a few of the guys she had been gone out with were just in it for some quick sex and didn't really want anything long term with her (although in the beginning they were saying something totally different). She didn't have any illusion on finding her "soulmate" at this juncture in life because she knew that men her age were usually looking at younger women.
Nevertheless, you enjoyed Angel's company and wanted to spend time with her outside of the workplace. You did the "dinner and a movie" date and things went well; however, it seemed that Angel wasn't ready for the night to end. As a joke you told her that just because she took you out and treated her to a nice dinner doesn't mean that she is just going to rush off and jump into bed with you.
Playing along with the "role reversal," Angel told you that after all the money she spent on this date she knew you were giving up some "draws."
You both laughed, but the next thing you know you and Angel were checking into a hotel.
When you wake up tomorrow
Will you forget the things you said tonight?
Or will I be just another girl
In your revolving world
