Almost every bank in the US offers special accounts with special treatment when you keep a daily balance of 50k or more.

A calltaker is supposed to enter a call once they have enough info to establish what type it is. And it's not like they have discretion, because if you decide not to send an officer when one is requested, no matter how trivial or stupid something might sound, that accountability lands right in your lap.

To me, it sounds like the person who took the call was the only one that had any real sense and tried to do the right thing.
