••Official 2008 NBA Draft Lottery Thread••

T-Wolves will get Beasley. Chi will take rose and MIA knowing they need a young play maker will either take Mayo or point-guard from Ari. They do not need Beasley, which will have him land to us.
It's nice to be optimistic, but I seriously doubt that the Timber pups will get the Beast at # 3.

lol @ the dumb nigguz in this thread.

Rose is going to chicago, beasley is going to Miami and ____ is going to timberwolves.

YOU MAD????

i know right
nigga said beasley is going to Minnesota...get the fucka outta here

I don't know why cats are laughing like I'm a fan wishing. I am not even a wolves fan, but it is common sense. Why do you think MIA wanted Rose? Because they need a point so Wade can move back to the 2. They have Udonis Haslem at PF who the Suns wanted in the trade, but the Heat wouldn't give up. No dream, just something that could happen for T-Wolves.

Common sense would tell you to get outta here with that. The top 2 players are Rose and Beasley. If Rose goes 1st, Beasley is 2nd and vice versa.

just think if the bulls somehow fuck up and draft beason

the heat starting 5 would be sick

wade
rose
marion
haslem
center?

thats pretty sick fellas

:lol:Yeah, that face expression was priceless when he found out his slot.

Just like it was common sense that Reggie bush would go number one in the NFL, or Wade going number two after LeBron?

what the fuck are you talking about???? that was a OWNER choice not GM...and wade was number 5.

go to sleep niggu

Wade wasn't even seen as a top 3 pick coming out of Marquette
And you cant compare the Bush situation to this NBA Draft
Keep wishing tho. Beasley will be the starting SF on the Heat next season

I'm just saying that many things can happen during the draft. Beasley SHOULD go number 2, but crazy things have happened before. Someone could break out during the pre-draft camps, or something could happen on the MIA team that would mean needs before wants.

:lol:Where does Matrix go in the line-up?

bulls will draft beasley due to their lack of inside scoring i would bet. but if somehow they wise up and draft rose instead, then the heat will be able to sign-and-trade matrix, or trade haslem. or, keep all and have no center.

what the fuck:confused:

when did Beasley become a small forward?????

what the fuck:confused:

when did Beasley become a small forward?????

Since he played in high school
The only reason he played in the post at Kansas State was b/c he was the teams biggest player and best rebounder
He and numerous scouts have already said that he will be a 3 in the NBA
His natural position

That's what I've been trying to say. How would Beasley fit in with the MIA line-up. Beasley may be an amazing player that should go top 2, but is he truly a need for either team?

man u dont have 6'10 small forwards

and he beasted at pf in college

there is no reason to make him play small forward against quicker players

please bruh, show me some linkage where someone said hes playing the 3

thats idiocy

haslem is a good pf.....i agree they dont have that need

but if beasley is there u have to take him to start at the 4

the matrix would still be a 3

dwade at 2

and you find a vet to play pg

still a great team

And if you were the coach, would you think it would be smart to have him guard LeBron James, R. Lewis, or P. Pierce? He may be good but he is not as quick as them.

There is still a problem that you don't solve. This line-up wouldn't work.

PG - Vet
SG - Wade
SF - Matrix
PF - Haslem
C - Beasley

Neither Haslem or Beasley are strong enough to be a C and if you bench one than it causes problems and most likely trade demands. As if you take a point guard or Mayo than you have this.

PG - Wade
SG - Mayo
SF - Matrix
PF - Haslem
C - Blount

Now which line-up looks better? Not saying it is the best, but it could get the job done until there is a vet PG or C on the market.

i need linkage for that claim bruh

i cant imagine someone putting beasley at 3 when hes 6 fuckin 10 and strong

i think the brother misheard/misread that comment

Yep. Beasley is quick. He didn't get to display it b/c he was playing in the post at K-State. You're acting like those niggas will just blow past him every time they have the rock. Hes no slouch by any means. You're trying to argue that hes a PF yet all the coaches are going to make him a SF. I dont get it

ive never heard of a 6'10 small forward......never!

u could be right but prove it

You dont put somebody at a position b/c of their height. Thats like putting Sean Livingston at the 3 b/c hes 6'7 and Rashard Lewis at the 4 b/c hes 6'10. Beasley is a 3 by trade and all the scouts said they are going to play him there so I don't see why you can't understand why.
At 6'9 hes already going to cause matchup problems b/c of his height and strength. Plus he has the ball handling skills and jumper to provide a nice inside-out game, which what has made him so dominate at the high school and college levels

I never said he moves like Shaq but you can't tell me that he is as fast as LeBron James or Paul Pierce.

Either Beasley is going to be one of the top players in the L, or he's going to be:

If we HAD a post presence, I'd be all for Rose....but Beasley is just too damn good of a presence to pass up.

Only other acceptable option is to trade the #1 and some dead weight (Hughes, Hinrich) for Melo.

actually that might be the problem with beasley's game, he's kind of a tweener for the NBA. its not obvious if he's a 3 or a 4.

if i'm the bulls i pick rose but then again the bulls have one of the worst GMs around so...
