If we HAD a post presence, I'd be all for Rose....but Beasley is just too damn good of a presence to pass up.
Only other acceptable option is to trade the #1 and some dead weight (Hughes, Hinrich) for Melo.
There is no question, ya'll need Rose. Bulls already have Thomas, Noah, Gooden, and yet the team really has no proven leader to run the floor. Kirk is a good 6th man, and Ben is best at the 2. Hughes is streaky and should be a role player off the bench. Good luck though, the Bulls need a break as do the Heat and Wolves.

U never pass a PG who makes guys around him better. You can pass up a scoring PG. Stephon Marbury is a scoring PG. So were players like Dan Dickau and Marcus Banks. Hell, if Jay Williams would have kept his ass off of that bike this wouldn't even be an issue right now.
Add Lamar Odom and Hedo Turkoglu to that as well. Tayshaun Prince is close also but he's 6'9
