Facebook, Ig, Amazon, Apple etc are not necessary services.
We could make a lot of these companies bend to our will if we withheld our dollar and support.
We just don't want to be inconvenienced to that extent, which let's me know we are not really serious about change.
It's much easier to blame Snoop and Nelly and make it there fault than to give up our precious Instagram and Amazon.

Computers are necessary in 2025. Half of the programs you'd want to use won't work on Linux which leaves you with Windows and MacOS.
There are a ton of small businesses and self employed people that rely on Facebook, IG, YouTube, etc. Without those platforms, they literally can't sustain their business.
Social media platforms are also sometimes the only way to get certain information or to network with people.
There are plenty of scenarios where the only way to get something that you need and to get it the same day or next day is through Amazon.
Have you heard of Goya? How about My Pillow? People are definitely willing to speak with their wallets.
