Smartphones are necessary in 2025. Good luck finding one that fulfills the needs of millions of people that isn't related to Apple, Google, Microsoft, etc.

Computers are necessary in 2025. Half of the programs you'd want to use won't work on Linux which leaves you with Windows and MacOS.

There are a ton of small businesses and self employed people that rely on Facebook, IG, YouTube, etc. Without those platforms, they literally can't sustain their business.

Social media platforms are also sometimes the only way to get certain information or to network with people.

There are plenty of scenarios where the only way to get something that you need and to get it the same day or next day is through Amazon.

Have you heard of Goya? How about My Pillow? People are definitely willing to speak with their wallets.

So basically they can do or say anything to us and we have to accept it?

If Tim Cook or Zuck called us the N word, there is nothing we can do because we can't live without their services?
