I will say this, and let me be the first to say it..... If the Warriors go out and get Durant it will be a huge mistake, not because he isn't a good player, but because by adding Durant to that club either him, Thompson or Curry is going to be the third wheel, and if history has taught us one thing that is in order to be a good third wheel guy you have to do the following.
1. Be able to still be productive with limited shots..
2. Be able to do other things besides score.
3. Not get frustrated
4. Be ok with sacrificing numbers even if the media kills you..

To put in perspective Love is the third wheel on the Cavs and there were times where he barely touched the ball, yet in order for the Cavs to win he had to put on his work man hat and grind it out on the boards and even played some tough defense..
In my honest opinion I don't see either splash brother or Durant with that intestinal fortitude and commitment towards winning.. In my opinion if they had it neither one would have allowed their team to lose after being up 3 games to one..

If I was the owner of the Warriors I would go after someone like Whiteside or even Rondo, players who can play off the ball, specialist who can complement the core players..
But this is a superstar oriented league and people tend to look at teams like fantasy teams and NBA live not actual units comprised of players who's ability to be productive often depends on a certain amount of touches and shots they take... All I know is that when Curry, Thompson and Durant are not shooting the ball they have zero impact on the court and if I needed a spot up shooter to take the place of Barns I would make sure he could at least play defense and or grab some rebounds...

Kyrie is this generations Iverson. Both had amazing handles and went to the rack wit unstoppable finishing moves around the rim. He just slower than AI but his J is better which offsets that.

I've been saying I would trade Love for Milsap and Sefalosha
If money is the issue then this would be an option, but I've been saying Love is fine where he is playing the role that he is playing, a glorified specialist role player who job is to keep the defense honest while grabbing rebounds...
If I was the Cavs I would spend all off season quickening up his release to his shot, its way too slow and I think one off season healthy should be able to fix a lot of mechanical problems he had with his shot..
What the Cavs need is a replacement for Jefferson someone young athletic and some range, doesn't have to be a star with huge numbers but another role player who is willing to buy into the system.. Plus I think Delly is going to be gone so they will need another point guard..

That's why Milsap and Sefalosha would be perfect. Thabo 6'7" defender who can guard 2 and 3's and you know he can hit the corner 3 at a decent enough clip. An Milsap got defense and can board. Also he can shoot and create his own shot. He has been the man in ATL the last couple years

I would try to get a player similar to Milsap via free agency to replace Jefferson before trying to trade Love, but if it doesn't work out then I would look into that trade..

So you would like to keep Love? He did straight in the playoffs, just disappeared in the finals from games 2-6. I thought he signed a 2 yr contract?

Well he had the concussion then the foul trouble game and was never able to get in the flow, but he did his job during game 7 and I think now that he is healthy he should have a productive off season knowing what his role on the team is and to work on quickening his release point to his shot..
I never saw him as the superstar player that the media taunted him as, but instead he should focus on being that 12 rebound getting floor stretching 4 who makes great outlet passes, even if it means he will average 12pts per game..
Also keep in mind if his defender has to defend him on the perimeter, even if he isn't hitting his shots, then he is doing his job, but as soon as they leave him there to help out in the paint well then its time to get rid of him..
In my opinion you win games with superstars but championships are won by role players and specialist who sacrifice their number allowing the superstars to produce and that's Love game..

Those addition would be great but I'd rather have Al over Milsap(if you gonna get rid of Love). Sefalosha would help also. Al could slide in at the 5 and rim protect better than Paul just on height alone.

Yeah... Sometime people just don't know when to shut the fuck up. They do ok... Then fall in love with their own thoughts and end up saying stupid shit...:smh:
They are similar players the biggest difference is that Iverson had the incredible body to be able to bring it hard everyday, if Irving had to do it chances are he would wear himself out and get injured, so he needs a person to help relive his work in the form of LeBron, while Iverson never had such luxury..
But in a 7 games series where Irving is allowed to floor it you can see how his skill set is comparable to Iverson..

See this is what I mean when I say you guys have an agenda against steph; Steph had 1 bad game in last year finals; he average 26pts, 5.2rbs, 6.3assist, in last year finals; Now compare that to what Irving did this year which is 27pts, 3.9rbs, 3.9assist; Yet people on here, as well as media outlets, was suggesting Irving should have won the MVP of the finals; Steph had better #s, except pts(1pt difference), in last year finals yet he played bad:hmm::smh:; He had one bad finals and that was this year; he wasnt shook; niggas dont throw behind the back passes and are shook; he was just playing dumb and bad period; a product of alot of factors but point is he played bad this year; I think you guys just need to say you are fans of LBJ and cavs and hate steph; its cool; @Amajorfucup has already admitted as such; I can respect that; Its one thing to give an opinion or make a statement and be wrong; Its another thing to just throw out shit because you hate a particular player....

If your numbers in the finals are down across the board, I don't count that as playing well. Notice Kyrie's numbers went up in the finals. LeBron's numbers went up.

Steph's went down. Both years.

I'm sorry, when people bestiw on you an honor they refused to give to Michael, Magic, Bird, Shaq. Dream, LeBron, Kobe, etc, dammit, I'm holding you to that.

Unanimous MVPs have to raise their play in the finals. If Steph had played well inbthe finals last year, a role player averaging 16 points a game would not have been named the MVP.

Point blank period.

Again you have an agenda which is clearly obvious...steph average in the season of 2015: 23.8pts, 4.3rbs, 7.7assist; he average in the finals of 2015: 26pts, 5.2rbs, 6.3assist...so his numbers went up, outside of his assists, and you in here saying his numbers went down:hmm:; again stop saying shit that doesnt make sense; stop with this steph playing bad last year; if you dont like that fact that he got the award just say it; but please come with a different dynamic as to why that is....
